There are always some people out there who behave awfully (in any walk of life). Completely unacceptable. CDPR tied themselves up in knots with the release date here. Pretty sure their official Twitter account confirmed the release date at one point, then a delay was announced the next day :D...

I don't think this was ever explicitly or openly communicated by CDPR, but rather speculation. Even if it was, “we’re struggling” is not the same as “this is what you’re going to get if you play on...”. What is clear is that there seems to have been a concerted effort made by CDPR to deceive...

Whilst I do agree with the “you can’t please everyone” sentiment in general, it’s the lack of transparency and dishonesty in this case that’s particularly jarring. Waiting is the obvious solution now, but CDPR’s behaviour shouldn’t be excused IMO.

Just watched this too - was what I was waiting for. Pretty damning! :( I know some will say it runs ok on the new gen consoles, but the vast majority of players are still using last gen. With all the delays, the way they avoided showing base console footage, and not providing console versions...

IGN saying the day-1 patch (v 1.02) is live for consoles - 28GB. I’m guessing this is the one that the reviewers didn’t have.

My copy's due today too :cool:. Good service from the game collection. I'm guessing the day-1 patch drops when the digital versions go live? Nothing confirmed yet, and I don't think there's any point speculating considering the promises/delays with this initial release :D

I don't have anything that outputs higher atm. Both my work laptop and the Pro are 60hz max (over HDMI).

:D everyone's different I guess. Gamer 1 profile here too. TFT Central suggested turning response time to "normal" for 60hz output, which is all I'm using atm. Just don't use "fastest" :D

Quite happy with it so far. Got my work laptop running through HDMI at 1440p with Windows scaled 125% - looks good and it's nice having the "extra" screen space. More importantly, it takes the PS4 Pro's 2160p output and downscales, which looks great :cool:. Had a quick play with the settings...
