Well. Enjoying it. But you're kidding yourself if you think this anyrhing more that a gorgeous looking cardboard cutout. NPCs do nothing. City life is skin deep. Police don't behave like police. Nothing really, happens. Every interesting sequence is scripted. GTA 2077.

So apparently the police are useless. People start shooting at me whilst I'm stood next to cops. Nothing. I shoot back, warrant out for my arrest. Probably the most immersion breaking experience so far. Is it just me or a bug? Can't be by design!

A big issue with the way 4X games look (IMO), is the lack of atmosphere because of scale. Ships and stations the same or a similar size to planets and moons.

Just started the hunting mission with Hosea. I can't get over how phenomenal this game can look. The environments and lighting are photo real, on ultra/high settings at least. It looks like a well shot film.

Well the latest patch has had an odd effect on my Vega 56. It now won't run at full MHz, core and RAM are down by 300MHz. Max load temp <60'c. Oddly, the game still seems to run fine... weird patch. Weird problem.

Me, no issues. Runs without a hitch and after a few hours, no crashes. I have no third-party AV (just Windows Defender), running Vulcan and Win10. Vega 56 (overclocked) is running ultra/high at 3440x1440... looks very, very impressive. It seems I'm pretty lucky!

Well, I just fired up without issue and ran a benchmark. It runs really, really well for me. Average 53fps at 3440x1440. Vulcan, Ultra textures, everything else high... on a Vega 56! CPU is Ryzen 2700x. To be fair the Vega 56 is overclocked, but still, that's really good at that resolution.
