Am I taking a step backwards?

Solid choices, Samsung monitors are very reliable. LG Ultragear might be worth taking a look at too If you're really looking to splash out, the Samsung g9 Oddyssey is the best of the lot Good luck with the new setup, enjoy

Am I taking a step backwards?

Yeah, I've used this panel (Samsung The Space 32") at 4k, 1440, and 1080, looks fine at 1440, 1080 is a bit rough but tolerable. I imagine a dedicated 1440p display will probably do a better job of showing 1440 though If you're getting those frames I can't see why you couldn't push to 4k res You...

Am I taking a step backwards?

Destiny 2 at (highest graphics settings) 4k 60 Halo Infinite (high) 4k 60 Forza Horizon 5 (medium-high) 4k 60 Minecraft Java (High with shaders) 4k 60 COD Warzone (Highest) 4k 60 Doom Eternal (Medium) 4k 60 Of all the games I've tried, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the only one that didn't run 4k...

Am I taking a step backwards?

I can run most games at 4k 60 on a 3060ti, so I imagine your 3070ti should be fine to run at higher frames, though you might have to sacrifice in game settings (though I generally play on high/ultra settings anyway)

I'm using a Ryzen 5 5600x with no problems at all. Infinite runs smooth.

    Halo Infinite GPU Performance

This is a strange table, I play Halo Infinite at high settings 4k 60 on my 3060ti, have never really experienced lower that 50-60fps.

    PC Upgrade Causing problems

Hi guys I've just upgraded my GPU from a 750Ti to a 3060Ti (finally). At the same time, I also added a new fan at the back of my case and added some PSU cable extensions - both aethetic changes. However, now my PC is behaving strangely: When I boot it up, sometimes the Corsair lighting does not...

    Best GPU Connectors

After a long wait, I will finally be getting a GPU - 3060Ti. In order to get the best performance out of it, I want to make sure I have the right cables coming out of the card. My monitor has an HDMI and a mini-Displayport. The GPU has 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DP 1.4a. I only use one monitor at the...

    Dilemma

Most eGPUs work through thunderbolt so they can connect up to laptops. If you find one of them and get a thunderbolt motherboard then you can do that, essentially having a double PC. Alternatively you could get an ATX case for a 3080 FE power build, and buy a smaller card for your ITX build as a...

    Asus rog 1660 super problem

While that would normally be true, in today's GPU market, a new 1660 Super can go for £400-500 in some cases. Anything higher than that will likely be even more, so it's worth trying to get the card fixed before scrapping it. Hopefully it's just a minor issue that can be easily solved. If it was...

    Asus rog 1660 super problem

I see, first you should make sure that all of the PC's drivers are up to date, make sure windows is up to date and get all of the current Nvidia drivers. Make sure that the power supply cables are properly pushed into the GPU, as it is possible it isn't getting enough power. What kind of PSU do...

    Asus rog 1660 super problem

Have you tried using a different GPU or integrated graphics? So you can see if the issues is with the 1660 or with something else in the PC? It sounds like your mb isn't posting properly.

    recommend a graphics card

However, if you want to do more video editing, look more at NVIDIA's Quadro cards, as they are more targeted towards workloads rather than gaming. Gaming cards will still do video editing quite nicely, but if you see a cheap Quadro, that would be your best bet.

    recommend a graphics card

You could get a 1050ti, or potentially wait a little longer and snag a 1650 when prices drop a bit. At a slightly higher price (200-400) you could get a 1070, a 1660 or 2060 also for higher performance.

Worth changing thermal paste on 980 Ti

Don't take apart a GPU if you don't have to. Thermal paste doesn't really stop working unless it's really showing signs. I've still got a 750Ti which has never had the paste changed after around 8 years. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Edit: if you do decide to change the paste, please look at...

What's the best upgrade GPU card for my build with an i7 4790K without bottleneck problems?

I've looked at the specs for EoT, and really you don't need an RTX card to run it well. While the 3060Ti is a massive upgrade (and is the card I have ordered) if you only want to run those games, you shouldn't really need more than a 1660 or a 1080 or equivalent. The AMD Radeon RX 590 is also a...

New 3070 TI arrived but looks opened and box was 'banged up'. Can someone help verify?

Is that not what that slot is for at the back? I don't have one on my card, but it looks exactly like an Intel mounting bracket for a CPU cooler. If that's not what it's for I apologise for misleading there.
