I'm the opposite I bought a 3070 from the previous FE drop. Wanted to get the 3060TI as it's much better value for money. But bit the bullet because I had enough of waiting. Spent £100 more than my original budget and only got slightly better performance. Just hope my 3070 ages better that way I...
You must have been really unfortunate, I managed to nab a 3070 FE after 2 months of installing the Telegram founder edition stock alerts. In that time I missed 3 drops but managed to bag on the 4th drop. I consider myself quite slow on the notifications too. Much like you I tried holding out for...
I'd highly recommend telegram for Founder Edition drops.
I used both desktop and mobile versions of Telegram. The mobile version is usually 3-5 seconds faster, so stick with the phone app.

My thermal head room is terrible as i'm suffocating my build by wedging it between a shelf below my desk. I've not noticed any overheating, but that's because i'm only pushing out 60Hz on 1080p. Think i'm going to wait out till November for...
I was one of those that originally tried to hold out for a 3060TI FE as I thought and still believe it's the best value for money graphics card currently on the market if bought at MSRP.
So that pretty much meant £400 was the ceiling of my budget and I didn't want to pay any more than that...
I have order picked confirmed at 17:30 today for the 3070. Really excited. Originally was only willing to spend up to a 3060Ti (~£400 budget). But it seems like the longer you wait the more you're willing to compromise.
I've previously made orders with this retailer before for a PSU, so I'm hoping my details are ok. So far have the "order placed" email. But not yet the payment authorization confirmation. I'm a little paranoid.
I just got the drop for 3070, details went through, really nervous about whether order will actually materialise now! Has anyone had order declined after making a payment?
The shortage is over! Today the Evergreen ship has been released from the Suez canal. The world's supply of graphics cards better be on that ship hahaha!
I'm still optimistic about GPU prices falling, even more now with stock returning. I will keep holding out until I can get a 3060 TI for less than £450.
I'm a little bit behind on news, but it looks like Nvidia have ramped production for 3060s and we would see resupply by July. Optimistic that I can finally get my hands on a FE 3060TI!

I'm in the same boat, slowly working my way towards min. post count. But, with prices now dropping we'll probably get to snag a GPU at a reasonable price before receiving any members discount.
