When I picked up my 14 Pro M3 Pro from local Apple Store the other week, the lass that served me said the gaffer hates his 16 Max, and they're awkward in the store to put in the bags they give customers, tight fit, ripping bags etc... first world problems eh?!
I’ve just had to setup a Samsung for the mother in law. Forgot how much junk in the way of just working, and how it’s a pain to use even for normals. She didn’t want to pay Pixel7a money… breath of fresh air coming back to fiddling with my Pixel 8 Pro after that torture session.
I know I shouldn't, but I'd still fancy a trashcan... How is it?
Only just picked up an MacBook Pro M3 Pro, so a bit daft wanting one. It's so pretty though!
Looking forward to it, although JediFragging will be on the Series X for a bit, as I got a cheap deal for that version of Survivor and haven't nabbed the PC one yet!
Chuggy 4k or 1440. Haven't been massively bothered about buttery smooth performance with the current card! Should have mentioned that as well really.
EDIT: I tend to let games auto detect settings and just go with whatever they suggest!
Pretty much as per the thread title... upgraded main PC and shifted the video card over.
Would prefer AMD really, and not bothered about RT as such, but happy to consider NV cards.
Needs to run quiet-ish under load, as I've a 3 fan Aorus card that doesn't make much noise through the walls of a...
Don't book IMAX tickets after a couple of shandies... you might end up front row, next to door, like I did for Oppenheimer... nice diamond shaped screen there!
Herself wants to go back again, so might do the Dolby this time.
Pixel 8 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro hitting around 630ish down on the ground floor and first floor, 100ish up. Drops off a bit to around 300 on the second (top) floor but retains 100 up. Nintendo Switch OLED is abysmal and works better off the Eero!
For kit still connected via the Eero, they don't...
Had this installed in November with a Hub 5X and switching to modem-only is there, but hidden. I've not tested it though: 192.168.0.1/?page=modemmode
Ended up disabling DHCP and tweaking the PiHole config, and then moving the Eero 5 Pro setup across, which works fine so far. Obviously slower...
I’ll have a look at my Pro later and see what memory’s in there.
I did briefly try a F4-423 last year and that took a couple of sticks of Crucial no problem, just normal memory matched to speed of what I removed. That same memory’s in a couple of laptops now, so behaving ok. Not entirely sure...
It’s brilliant with unRAID so far, although the NVMe complain a bit about heat during downloads that max out the 1gig broadband… need to see if there’s enough since to fit a heatsink on each SSD! Looks like the TM logo on the removable side panel will pop out, so I may be able to Macgyver a...
