Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

I wouldn't go that far. It's always advisable to check prices elsewhere - even ebay (on new items) can beat Amazon prices sometimes. I compared a recent purchase of an OBD2 scanner which was £200 on Amazon and £126 on ebay with free delivery. More often it is the product's OEM website that...

My doggie family, generally they get on OK together - because each knows its place in the pecking order. Hazel (5-year old brown cockapoo) is top dog, little Lyra (8-month old Carin Terrier) is second, and Copper (10-year old cockapoo) is bottom of the pile! Hazel looks like she's about to...

An OBD2 scanner. This after being charged £70-odd at a garage for them to check my car for faults. There are a plethora of such devices at wildly varying prices and capabilities, this one hits the spot for me as a DIY tool. Stupid price on Amazon (£200-odd) but just £126 on Ebay with a code...

To go with my recently purchased NanoVNA, this TinySA Ultra (a spectrum analyser) plus another phone stand to hold it. These little devices are amazing in what they can do, prior to their introduction you have needed to spend thousands to get similar functionality for analysing RF signals. They...

Hazel (the cockapoo) had her regular groom today, Lyra (the Cairn Terrier) needs one soon! I thought Hazel was looking a bit overweight but she's actually not and looks in good shape with all those curls shaved off.

Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

Did you know... That if you have your partner added to your Amazon account under the Amazon Household system then that person will get notification of all your transactions by default? I didn't until she asked what was that tripod for that you're having delivered today? I thought - What? How...

Toying with the idea of upgrading myself, it would be the mini 4 pro or the Air 3.

Immediate use was for antenna checking/making and impedance matching, I need to get my head around Smith charts to get more out of it! Just got into Lora/Meshtastic so needed some 868MHz antennas and you just can't trust advertised specs - well, not on Chinese stuff anyway.

Lyra has started her first season at just 7 months of age, poor thing doesn't know what is happening :) Having to keep her on a long line during walks for that reason - and also she tends to run off if she sees a rabbit or squirrel. Zero recall if that happens.

I would be very careful how you use it anyway, OK for radiators and fans but blasting video cards may end up an expensive mistake. Personally I prefer to use a brush and vacuum cleaner, it might not be as effective but good enough and safer.

Cancelled next renewal as soon as I received the email, but my subscription renewed for a year last December so 10 months before it ends. This money-grabbing attempt is going to cost them through loss of not only currrent subscribers but also potential new sales. Plenty of subscription-free...

Err.. yes, Labradors and Golden Retrievers don't count 'cos they'll eat absolutely anything that will fit in their mouth :-) Our previous Cairn wouldn't eat veggies either, a confirmed carnivore. I'm not complaining about Lyra eating them it's actually good for their health, I wish I could get...

Is my pup a bit odd? She's a 6-month old Cairn Terrier and she loves to eat raw vegetables. Brussel sprouts, green beans, peas, cauliflower, broccoli (doesn't eat carrots though - just chews them up). Also eats cucumber, apples, nectarines (but not bananas). If it wasn't for the fact she also...

More a question of how long you spend with the dog - alone - and whether you and the dog feel comfortable with each other. If the dog is looking to leave your company within a few minutes rather than maintain interest then maybe not a good choice. You obviously won't bond immediately but a dog...

I use a big A0 cutting mat because I do all sorts of stuff in front of the PC screen - like electronics (soldering, cutting pins, using glue etc) so a nice leather mat would be ruined in short order. Nice idea though.

We have a cupboard full of similar odd animal parts, favourite is duck fillets but ostrich tendons go down well. This was delivered at the rather uncivilised time of 7:50am this morning. PC speaker system. I'll open it when I generate some enthusiasm to do so.

Lyra the Cairn puppy met a new friend on our walk. They had fun playing bitey-face until the 'fun police' (our two cockapoos) eventually moved in to investigate. They had already been at it for 10min before I pulled my phone out to video the spectacle.
