Good to hear that she's a good 'un. I spotted a silver GTC earlier with a red hood which worked fairly well.

    Madness in the fast lane

Selfish women. They've ruined my after-hours googling of 'Swedish twins' :(

    argh crash

Unlucky Amleto, one of those 'take-it-on-the-chin' situations unfortunately & hope that your renewal isn't as bad as you expect. Rush-hour + roundabouts = super defensive driving, everybody is out to get ya!

    Lotus Exige's

Bonos. Epic engine, epic gear change, epic noise. He destroyed me on the dual carriageways getting to Wales. I destroyed him on the bendy bits in Wales! :) Are you back from Cornwall now? I'll take you out for a spin next weekend mate. DiamondMark, once your inside its fine. But getting in...

    Lotus Exige's

Good man  First off the bat - if I was using your cash I'd be throwing mid-twenties at the '07 Exige S 220. This would leave a few quid for warranty, fresh boots & brakes, plus some choice mods to take her up to 240 horses, including a more vocal exhaust. Back to the Exige...

    Spec yourself a car!

A spot of Friday fun, as we have all owned, tested & read about plenty of motors, just what would be your ideal spec car? Your car spec can be based on it being a work-Horse or a weekend toy or a mixture of both. Either way it is the car your greeted by when you open the garage... so what would...

    Car Limits Days

No worries fella, although it feels like being back at school, which in essence you are, these are valuable skills that stay with you for life. That is absolutely bang on, many people throw a few quid at a decent motor & then have absolutely no idea how to extract 1/10th from the car. I hope...

    Mazda rx8

Questions to ask: Can I see the rear doors? Does it really burn that much oil? Can you say '****el' in a German voice please? EDIT: Even the OcUK swear filter hates the engine! :p

    Bentley

I said apart from the Mazzas Firestar! Although yes, a Quattroporte would be the only car to tempt me from a Bentley at this price/class. Does the Aston not have a sniff of football socks also?

    Bentley

What would you go for Firestar? Apart from a Mazza! The footballers angle doesn't even register for me as the car itself is so bloody impressive.

    Bentley

Pick a car from this list

Cheers iaind & Panzerbjorn, To be honest i've never done the 'paper maths' on any diesel motors i've used over such a short distance, it must actually be better than I thought and just the way the computer indicator thingy starts at a low MPG figure & clicks up that had me wondering. I think...

Pick a car from this list

I nail a sniff over 2,500 miles each month, 55 mpg rocks my socks! Has anybody else also found that you have to cover +30 miles for a dag-dag to have properly warmed up in order to release the high MPG? You have to be a touch special to not go for petrol power if you cover under 15k each...
