Thanks! I'll look a more powerful boiler and higher capacity cylinder.
Out of curiosity, what is your mains flow and pressure like? Is all your piping 22mm?
We are currently doing up a property and just wanted to find out what kilowatt boiler and megaflo capacity those more experienced than me would suggest for the below:
5 Residents
4 Bedrooms
Ground Floor Water Underfloor Heating - 5 Zones / ~100m2
4 Radiators
1 Shower
1 Bathtub
Note...
Our combi boiler was replaced earlier this year (with Ideal Logic+ c30) and the new one doesn't have a programmable time. It wasn't an issue before, but now that it is getting colder and we have a baby, we need to be able to set the heating to come on at certain times.
This is our thermostat...
Had bought my C80 back in 2016 and earlier this week I almost fell off it because the entire right hand side came apart.
Does anyone know if a replacement bracket can be bought from anywhere? Or is it best to just dispose of this chair and invest in a new one?
I've ordered a few of these:
https://www.ledkia.com/uk/buy-presence-detectors/1095-recessed-120-presence-detector.html
Not sure if they will do the job, but no harm in trying. Definitely cheaper than replacing the wall lights :)
I've been tinkering with my dodgy ones by attaching a mains...
Does anyone know where I can buy replacement PIR sensor modules for wall lights like this:
One of my lights always stays on and another flashes a few times every time it turns off. The other two are fine though.
I had ordered this item just over 3 weeks ago, and funnily enough it literally just arrived:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logitech-Z-5500-Speakers-Replacement-Control-Pod-Post636-Subwoofer-Wired-Remote/321069120064
Testing it as we speak:
- centre speaker and subwoofer produce no sound when...
I popped the subwoofer open, and don't see anything obvious. There is no hum/buzzing (or any sound at all for that matter) coming from the subwoofer when it is plugged in :(
/Edit: I lie... there is a faint buzzing when I flick the power switch on the back of the subwoofer. The control unit...
Mine randomly died yesterday whilst playing music. I've had them since 2006 and have never had the fuse blow before.
Having checked the fuse (it is a clear glass one), it looks fine to me. There is still no power going to the control unit though.
Any suggestions?
Are they both the same? They look different lol.
The garden was Shirley's (the person who owned the house before) passion, so I was thinking that if there were quite a few of them, they were planted intentionally. We let the garden go quite a bit though, so just wanted to make sure.
Sounds...
I've already waited to see what grew after I mowed over it... now I'm going to be putting cardboard down and mulch on top, so need to work out whether I should smother these or work around them.
I've been working on the garden during the lockdown and am now getting round to sort out a flowerbed I had to clear out - I couldn't make out what was what and just mowed over the lot lol :D
These have grown over the last few weeks and I can't work out if they are weeds or were actually planted...
Unfortunately not. We've had numerous plumbers check it out and they couldn't work out what was wrong. The next step would require opening up walls and floors to look at the piping, which we never bothered to get done.
Has yours been fine previously?
