Depends on what you want to achieve, but, put the subject in front of a background that will expose at a different f - stop.
Meter for the background.
Flash will only be of use if you want a "negative" silhouette. i.e. subject exposed, background under exposed.
I'd ask in the storage or hard drive forum...
But I went for a synology 109. You might need to add in your own HD.
It's a 2009 model, but for my money is a lot better than the "Home spec" 110j. It will do everything you ask for (and a lot more) and also has an eSATA port. Which should prove...
I've seen good results published from a 70-300 DO. It's not an L quality lens but it might be worth a look (and will be half the price of a 70-200 300 combination).
It was with a blower brush! and I didn't touch it hard enough to even move the dust! When I took it to the shop for a fix I got lot's of helpfull "ooh yuou don't want to do that!" comments. Mostly from people who already had, and now won't again, like me.
Correct, though I would use the term "fill flash" to refer to a supplemental burst of flash to fill in the shadow, and I'm not sure how ETTL handles the exposure control on the subject in Good light ( i assume the same as it's metering an background average anyway)
When using Flash in Av mode...
You can hear my horror story if you like. It involves dust on the focus screen of a canon 400D, a blower brush and me. Ended up with a scratched focus screen, and a £120 bill for a replacement!
Now when the other half complains about a dust in the viewfinder, I tell her to put up with it.
Surely getting NTL accounts to forward to GMail is just the same as gettting GMail to pick up the mails?
I didn't manage to get past the error with syncing on GMail, when using gmail on the phone to sync the NTL-Gmail account, so for now I'm going to leave it as it is. Using Mail to access NTL...
mmm I can't get the Desire I'm looking at to do that, nor the Legend....interesting. I can get it to work fine with IMAP folders though.
Must be something on the exchange end? I have no control over that side of the pair, and have no idea what is / isn't configurable.
All I can say is...
I don't know if the desire or android sync well with hotmail. Mine seems ok with Outlook. I ended up with loads of duplicates, but HTC sense lets you link duplicates to view them as a single contact. My contact info is spread across 2 outlook acounts (one is exchange) gmail, Facebook and phone...
Not what I was trying to do. I think you have imported all the Ntl mail into google, to then view it in Gmail on the phone. I was trying to use the GMail phone app to view the ntlworld account as I still want the accounts separate.
Is this true? I've get a shed load of outlook contacts and calendar info on my Desire (using HTC sync). Admittedly, it doesn't get tasks or notes though.
Sync'ing email/calender is not all Exchange is about. As a heavy Exchange users, I can tell you know that no other platform (apart from the iPhone) lets me move messages into folders to organise.
I'm sorry but, If I have read your post correctly, this bit seems wrong.
On my Desire I can Long...
