Result, new Corsair Hub works a treat, finally can lock my laptop again and turn the 49" widescreen off! Power bill will see a nice dent.

Still hasnt resolved my issue with my USB-C PD hub and External Monitor on my M1 Air. Hub out, monitor detected. Plug in hub, all fine. Once display goes to sleep, on re-awaken external monitors won't detect until I remove the hub, wait 5 seconds, then they detect, then re-plug hub and carry...

Works fine on Laptop, disappointed with the GFX compared to my BlackMagik Pro on my 5120x1440 49" Definitely slower, but c'est la vie. Fingers crossed the 16" has multi-core GFX

So.. it turned up . yay.. but boo.. I did Thunderbolt 3 direct connection migration assistant. All looked fine.. however External monitor (DisplayPort to TB3) was running really low Res (C49RG90SSU 49" 5120x1440 running at only 3840x1080) Rebooted and then it just stopped working...

I typed out the same last night but didnt click send. 100% agree with this, covers look naff. Sure, The watch presents the card to the reader, it doesnt send any data over the internet. In the same way your Credit/Debit card doesn't need an internet connection.
