To go into a new house, main hi-fi in kitchen/diner area with speakers and digital hard drive unit to store CDs, which then slings the signal through a wall into the sitting room which has it's own pair of speakers.
Ideally want to spend £400-700 and *not* have to wire through the wall. So...
I'm completely in AIM atm and these days are pretty hard to take.
Worrying thing is, it was the Olympics that royally screwed Greece over. Granted, they made some terrible decisions off the back of it. We need to be very careful.
Does the Euro have to collapse completely for us to have...
What is the quickest, easiest and cleanest way to change fonts?
I'd like something super clean (iphone-ish) and would also ideally like to change the stock lock screen clock font. Plenty of apps in the market but most need prior installs of more apps and I don't want a messy solution. I'm...
Hi all - I'm looking edit some photo and video footage of a mates stag do as a compilation package for him to commemorate the weekend. I want to be able to paste jpegs of mates faces onto video clips for comedy effect. This doesn't have to be perfect by any means, but some tracking of motion...
Anyone else in XEL?
I've had to majorly restructure my 2011 investment plans after today. Disappointing but still very content to long hold for production. I'm just getting really antsy about being out of GKP at the moment.
Roll on BEM Kallak North JORC...
Hi all, having a bit of a brain fart this morning and can't even form a decent sentence to describe this...
What do you call the process/test where you run on a mat in a shoe shop and a computer analyses pressure/contact points on your feet to suggest the best type of running trainer...
Where would you spend it stulid? How about 2x SSDs in RAID for a speed difference?
Re: monitors. Two 24" simply won't fit on my desk. And my current LG w2452tx has a pretty monstrous outer bevel.
Following on from this thread which outlines the build brief, I have decided to increase my budget and include 2x new monitors.
After reading the PCI-E SSD numbers I have fallen in love and happy to pay the extra.
My previous dual screen setup was laptop + 24" monitor, decided as laptop now...
Aye thanks for the input, I appreciate it's not something that can be answered wholly.
I think I'm leaning towards paying the extra whack for the Intel i7, and trying to justify a bigger SSD and maybe BD-RW too
Been a while since I've built my own system and am at a bit of a loss where to start...hoping OcUK can help :)
I need a big powerful system, but not so much on the graphics side of things. I play poker online semi-professionally and keep a very large database of information here. I run several...

Ah no I'm just using the advanced screen. I use iii and (wrongly!) assumed it would be the same and ~15 mins behind even if I signed up!
Apologies for incorrect bluntness, might look at switching if it allows me to create multiple personalised pfs.
When I press refresh at 14:23 and get a price "As of 14:07" this is not live. They are better than most, but unless you are paying for L2 then you aren't getting live prices anywhere.
Shareprice is not live and it's certainly not L2.
Whoever you decide to get L2 through, most of them provide an iphone app now :)
EDIT: If you want to see what L2 is, watch the PureDeal demo middle of the page http://www.hlmarkets.co.uk/news/seminars. This type of service is not available for...
It's not L2. You cannot get L2 information for free. There is no order book and the information is the same as iii/advfn etc
It's just a nice front end and in my experience about 1 min ahead of the other "15-20 mins delayed" services.
Has long been a bookmark and excellent for a quick...
