Depends - on the guys that monitor network traffic - if there are any and for that many users there should be!! .. I know where I am its secure as hell and would be noticed straight away without the project failing ! :( Hence why i can only use development pc's that are sitting on a diff network

lol I hope Mr X is a contractor - and if so i doubt he'll worry to much about boinc rules ;) Its at your risk With 800 pc's does Mr X know if the company is running ISA or similiar ? and does Mr X have access / admin rights on said servers ? If not he would have several problems...

Welcome to the Team CarpMaster :) Internet Cafes probably dont allow users the admin rights to install software - they'd be daft if they did ...dunno have never used them - but i'm sure there are people in this team with the knowledge to ...er ...circumvent such security lol might check...

My RAC has dropped as well due to the loss of around 14 PC's including the xeons i was running seti on but there was nowt i could do about that ..just been living on credit that the validator was and still has a few to catch up on so I'm still not sure at what point it will level out... However...

Its Close ...but we did gain a little more over them today than we have recently :) and our Real Rac is back above thiers at the moment (best not speak to soon there though) main thing is ...we are still No1 of course :D

Just updated 5 of my crunchers - 1st one got the same message as above - next 4 where fine and recieved work - re-ran the update on the 1st and its sorted ...there is work there just the scheduler must be under a bit of pressure i guess ;)
