So it had to happen - PLASMA now died - Update for AV now.

Forget about the screen burn thing, it's not an issue anymore. For a start, plasmas were FAR worse than OLED ever was. And the OLED technology has continued to improve and evolve. Just go for an OLED. You'll be shocked just how poor your plasma was in comparison. They're that good.

**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S22 Family Thread ****

Is this what an upgrade with the upgrade program should look like? I entered my details, chose which one I wanted, told it my current S21 is fine and got this. Seems like a new order to me?

It's on every email you get from Klarna at the top it says order no: (8 character code) Samsung have also sent 2 or 3 emails over the last few weeks about the upcoming upgrade which has the number in too. The page is currently not working very well.

Assume you mean the base S22? All 3 phones are available in graphite.

Are Ubiquiti still the gold standard?

My modest home UniFi setup of a USG router, a U6-LR AP and a AC-Lite AP works flawlessly and gives me the best and most stable WiFi I've ever used.

Nice looking laptop but that screen would drive me mad! Why is it so reflective?!

Can I use old virgin media lines for TV (without virgin media sub?)

Potentially it will work, if they haven't disconnected it at the cabinet. You probably won't get HD or anywhere near as many channels as Freeview. Any DVB-C box should work but it will be easier with a VM one. Note that technically all the boxes belong to VM so it's a bit naughty to buy/sell...

    realistic speeds for wifi 6?

I get 500-900mbps depending on what mood everything is in. UniFi U6 LR access point set to 80hz to a Dell Inspiron 7591 laptop with a AX201.

    *** Official SONOS Thread ***

Don't get why people say the sub is a must? It's really not! I have a Beam in my bedroom and if anything there's too much bass at times. Granted it's not like being at the cinema, but that's not really the aim of it.

My U6-LR restarted itself yesterday and then wouldn't let anything connect to it, had to reset and re-adopt it. Strange! Hope it doesn't happen again. Anyone had something similar?

Looks good, I use Moviebase but it's the same thing essentially. Will check it out and compare! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moviebase&hl=en_GB&gl=US

Has anyone been on probation before?

They have to get an insight into you as a person and do a massively in depth and complicated risk assessment based on the detail they get from you. Basically they are just doing their job. They are there to protect the public, not keep you happy. You did the crime not them and quite a serious...

Picked up my Roam today from Richer Sounds. First impressions are it's smaller than I expected but the sound is fantastic, it's well built and so far seems to work well with no issues found yet. I don't have much that size/type to compare it to other than it sounds better than an Amazon Echo.

    *** Official SONOS Thread ***

Had it a little while now and so far I love it. It sounds fantastic for the size of it and really surprised how much bass there is considering everyone says get the sub - it's really not needed at all, and my bedroom is quite big too. Few annoying issues with it, but I guess most will be...
