Well when i smelt the back of the comp where the fan for the hyper power supply is that stunk of burning, but if the power supply has burnt would the button light up when i click the power supply on but still not power the pc up.or does thsi suggest something else.

Im placing the xp disk in while in on xp not restarting. But i dont see how this should cause a problem as i had to reinstall my other 2 computers that way and they both reinstalled fine. Its just the 1 computer i hvae a problem with. If that helps.
