    Repair/replace advice

I agree. I had an airbag replacement on a recall on my 2007 Lexus. The dealer who completed the work was local to me, and not the supplying dealer. I simply called then with the registration number and they booked it in and completed the work.

Very true! I also worked on the manual F-Type and was lucky enough to drive one. A much better and more enjoyable car than the automatic. Shame that no one bought them. I still really dislike the new look though :(

I think I read that the last manual Ferrari, the California, only sold 2 or 3 (depending on source) cars in the world. One RHD and one or two LHD cars. If this is true, I can understand why Ferrari dropped the manual. Having been lucky enough to experience it in an F355, it is a real shame...

Best way to transfer large sum for private sale.

I agree with bank transfer, but call them. We are buying a house (so need to transfer the deposit) and my maximum daily limit is £25k - worth checking in advance so that you don't get caught!

    Mid-Terraced house EV charging options

Not a stupid question at all :-) It stays in place with the weight of the cable protector. I also have plenty of cable length, so it is not stretched. This cable protector looks just like the one I have

    Mid-Terraced house EV charging options

Our house has an odd design that our two parking spaces are the other side of the pavement. House -> Pavement -> Parking Spaces -> Road. We are are pure EV household (I have an MG5, my wife has an i3). I run the cable across the pavement, but only when charging. I purchased some very heavy...

    BMW i3 charging woes

My wife has a 2017 i3 and this is exactly what we had to do. We had to go into a menu and set the charging rate at "maximum" before it would charge at the full 7kW from our charger.

I have seen them advertised at £150k... Definitely not worth that, at all. Market is crazy.

Any one ever just sold a car to a Main dealer (not px etc)

I sold my old IS250 to my local used car dealer for cash back in 2020. They gave me a better price than WBAC and the cash was in my account within minutes. Very easy. Motorway can be good - a lot of friends have done well with them. Unfortunately, no one wanted my wife's Audi Q3 earlier this...

Oh the P6 is an absolutely beautiful car. The first car you ever drove will always have a special place in your heart - unfortunately for me it was just a 306!

My Dad had two - unfortunately both 2600s not 3500s. One automatic, one manual. I absolutely love them and still hanker after a lovely manual 3500.

What is fundamentally flawed on your car?

We have sold it now but on my wife's Audi Q3 you would rotate the infotainment dial to the right and the selection would move to the left. Rotate it to the left and it would move the selection to the right. Minor issue obviously but easily fixed by software and I would always turn it the wrong...

Yep. I also love the two tone seats.

    Auto or manual

That's what I thought - when driving the iPace with full regen (so single pedal driving) I hope it put the brake lights on! As a quick aside I loved that car - shame that it was the director's and not mine...

    Auto or manual

That's interesting - I didn't actually know that some cars do this. I'm not sure why - apart from to warn that the car is stationary?

That looks great and it looks like a great deal! I had no idea you could get these for so little money - seems like a great idea for cheap family transport.

The XE S looks absolutely superb. I was lucky enough to drive one ages back and they are wonderful cars. Such a shame that they were replaced by the AWD 300hp 4 pot - it's just not the same. I can only imagine it was a forced move by ever increasing emission standards!
