Update on my no one internet. WiFi still ranging from 150-350 at best. Have a new laptop and connected via ethernet and manage 308 down. They are sending me a new router to try.

How are you finding it now? Mine seems to be anything from 150-600 mostly on WiFi. Unfortunately don't have a PC to hardwire in ATM to test.

Managed over 8hrs SOT for the first time, battery seems to be improving. Phone is also very smooth now, no scroll lag. Working well with the watch, getting at least 2days usage. Happy user !

My firestick isnt behind TV, it's on the floor hidden away which is probably the problem. I've moved it out to the shelf but it's made no difference so far. The upstairs firestick, which is further away and behind more walls/doors gets 274mb on the 5ghz network.

Done some testing. Living room Firestick 2.4ghz - 26mb max 5ghz - 140mb max Phone - 2.4ghz 150mb max 5ghz - 620mb max A WiFi app I've used says the link speed on WiFi 2.4ghz is around 150mb, but on 5ghz it's ranging from 600-900. These match the speeds I get on my phone, the firestick must...

I'll have to have a proper play around when I'm back home. My phone WiFi maxed out at 810/600 next to the router. Upstairs firestick got around 250 but living room only gets 25 bizarre! In the same room my phone gets around 550/550.

Yes, separate them out. I downloaded an app to see what best channels were. Did you set yours to UK ?

I'll have to find something to plug in to it directly and run a speed test. Do you guys use 2.5 or 5ghz and pick your signals for both or just let the router do its thing. The router was set to united states, it was meant to be pre set up!

Oh right! The installers told me to give it 24hours. On my phone in the next room it's 530/530. A bit concerned initially!

Just had no one installed. Can get around 730/730 on WiFi right next to the router however the firestick in the next room won't get more than 25mb and it now says it can't steam more than 720p. Not sure if I need to play with the router settings or get an extender. Never had the router in this...

Bang on, I dropped my phone in the bath before and no problems. Took a dive in the hot tub and it failed. IP ratings are controlled tests in fresh water only, doesn't take into account water pressure or covers for chlorine/salt.

When my p6 went into a hot tub it started to fail in the days after. Seems the chlorine loves to eat the waterproof seals. Hopefully you are ok!

Thanks I'll see how I get on with the default. The Plusnet default has performed well over the years.

no one installing my 900/900 line Thursday! A bit of an upgrade from 36m to 900, looking forward to seeing what it can do. How are the routers from no one? I'll be running everything wirelessly from TV to ring CCTV and laptops / phones.

Brilliant, I'll probably ask them to stick it in front room, saves dragging cables all around to the back of the house. Nothing is plugged directly into my router anyway, it's all wireless currently

Might call them tomorrow. Do I need to disconnect my old line first, I assume this is going to be brand new cable ran into my house or will it use the current one? New to this!

Quite lucky I'm in a decent area with decent connections. Not sure who to go with though!! Some good reviews on no one and no price rises. Voda reputation makes me want to steer away. Don't know much on the others .
