What is your soundcard? The poor sound quality you mentioned occurs only in ventrilo I assume? What is the server's codec? In setup enable the "Use DirectSound for input device". This might help. Posting a screenshot of your ventrilo and soundcard settings could also be useful

I kinda like the new centurion case but I don't understand why don't they make it full aluminium. I like the looks of many cases overall but their weight is what holds me back and I don't buy them. I want a fairly big/roomy case with low weight and nice looks. I mean at the moment I own a TT...

QPAD hands down i have had MANY mouse mats until I stick with the qpad. included some of those u mentioned. dont go with plastic, glass or metal...go for a cloth pad, qpad, everglide titan or even steelpad 5L and u wont regret it

the thing is without modding i find the cooling in the v series pretty poor. one 120mm fan infront blowing air directly to the hdd's, then one exhaust in the upper area and optional for 2x80mm on top of the psu. i dont know but lets say u have 8 hdd's (even 4), they completely block the airflow...

I confirm this. G.Skill Technician said they do this on purpose when I asked him on another forum, nothing to worry about. I got mine rock solid in prime and memtest86 @ 3-4-4-8 @ 2.6V 260mhz 1:1 try to mess with the timings a bit in the bios, and bear in mind this is UCCC so higher...

the TJ07 is definately the best case for my likes when it comes to looks and design..i fell inlove with it, but the price keeps me away so far...i m not sure whether I'm willing to spend 200+ pounds on a case. (but i so god damn want to :P) anyway on-topic, i would go for the lian-li v1000+...

yes its possible with the appropriate software however you'd have to buy it because the freeware ones are very minimal in features such as stealth mode etc etc. i will come up with suggestions soon, ethical or not he didnt ask for a moral lesson, he asked if it can be done and how. g'morning

i dont see why would u need to turn vsync on. you don't need it, i own the 930BF and its excellent for games even FPS one's. no tearing, ghosting, whatsoever with vsync always off
