Have you considered using Chromecast with Plex? It's a much better experience than the Plex apps on TVs.
I know it doesn't really answer your question, but for 30 quid it might be worth giving it a go.
I ended up going for an Intel NUC i5 with 16GB RAM (total overkill but it was so cheap) and a 500GB SSD. I'll probably need some more external storage in the future, but it's enough for now.
Transcodes 2 1080p streams simultaneously no problem. Happy with the little fella.

Just bought a new house. The guy a bought it from said that he only had sky and the standard tv aerial on the roof had been disconnected.
However, the only socket in the wall is a normal female tv aerial socket, not the sky ones that you screw in.

No, it GENERICALLY ensures that my keys etc cannot be stolen. No heuristics or sandboxing required.
