have you got a spare drive lying around? if so try put that in in place and then you will be able to narrow the source of the problem, i.e. is it to do with the dvd drive? i presume it is a combi drive / dvdrw or were u burning on a different drive? cheers ian

personally i would say the x1950 is wasted on that spec, no offence intended. but i cant really expect the x1950 providing any more power to a 6800 series, having to upgrade the psu and gfx would seem a bit of a waste to me, as the graphics card would be cpu limited. going for a 6800...

The VA1912W does not offer the 1:1 pixel scaling. However it does perform strangely, watching divx episodes it wont stretch the image, but battlefield 2 etc and any other resolution it will stretch the image :s Ian

The fan's were Adda's and they can be picked up for very little money, they run silently; i cannot hear them, and they work perfectly, as i said the temps is always below 40 However they dont look great (just black fans) so if you want something flash... one prob i did find with the evo33...
