its not heat related no my temps are good.
The other day i tried increasing the ram voltage a slight bit, which seemed to have worked, until it messed up again today. Im totaly giving up. I got no idea what it is. :(
well i found out what it was.. It was the 5.1 output not working with my soundcard, which is set at 2.0
bit stupid really aint i. Thanks for your help fellas
well im not using 5.1 im using headphones, which in the creative console is set to 2.0/2.1
tried all sorts of things nothings fixed it
i do have a reciever which takes optical cables but my optical cable is only 1 metre long which does reach it >:(
will have to stick to rca for now i reckon
just bought myself a ps3 and love it, apart from this nasty crackling sound i get with an optical cable.
i have it connected to my pc thru an i/o drive with an x-fi xtreme music, then back out thru the headphone port. maybe i have a dodgy optical cable? which would suprise me as its a monster one

and i have windows media player 11 for my music, which i think could be handling online movies which stream too. wonder if its worth uninstalling windows media player completely
well i just managed to take an ss and save it whilst my pc was about to crash from it. when my pc restared the ss i took looks normal, like theres nothing wrong
yeah it does happen with all of them. sometimes it happens straight away, sometimes it happens like 10 mins into it.
all my drivers are updated! and i use the latest version of divX

When im watching an avi file, quite often the video messes up and the mouse icon gets really distorted, then my pc just crashes. does anyone know what this could be??
