Yup. Took off the HS cleaned off all the old TP and reapplied some then reseated the HSF. Pinkfloyd Will get an answer off him. I know bios temps are the same. Not sure what else hes used to monitor temp. He was running the F4 gigabyte bios originally and i got him to flash it up to F12...

safe yeah...but idle temp :S? And hes reseated his CPU with new thermal paste. Stiock cooler on the CPU btw. I mean fair enough if it was sturggling to keep it low in use, but that high idle?

Having a problem with my new system... in games such as cs:s and BF2 my games kind of... jumpy. Like the player models will be stuttery/jumpy. I tested bf2 on single player and it was fine, as soon as i jumped to an online server it was jumpy again. This makes me think its my network connection...

So all we all sitting with 256 mb of cheapo ram in our new machines while we wait for our RMA swaps :P?

Ive used that ram in the DS4 and its a big no no. Get something else :P

I was just gonna get a stick of 256 to boot it and flash the ... as of yet unreleased bios update for the ds4 that fixes this.

Looks like ill have to run down to.... a local shop... and buy a stick of 256 MB 4300 DDR 2. :S May be a bit of a bottleneck with a conroe / X1900Xt lol.
