Same here. No idea what's causing it, but I doubt it'll cause any issues.
If you have a look at my previous post you'll see that the defragmenter is running several defragmented/consolidated passes - I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be doing that on an SSD. Manually optimising shows the drive...
Yeah, that seems to be the case. Action Center > Maintenance > Start Maintenance seems to kick off a proper defrag in my case...
I take it this is the "The volume System Reserved was not optimised because an error was encountered: The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057)" error?
I have the Windows volume at 50% with no sound 'enhancements' whatsoever (Creative SBX off, EQ off). The only amp is the headphone amp in the card, and there's no way to adjust it. Reducing the in-game master volume to 0.50 gets rid of it, so it does seem to be clipping due to the volume. :(
:)
I'll probably just hang on to mine. I have a slight issue with it though - if anyone reading this plays Black Ops 2 please pop over here and comment.
If you play multiplayer I'm sure you're familiar with the sound the Warthog's cannon makes. My Sound Blaster Z seems to struggle with this sound effect; it introduces a low-frequency buzz-buzz-buzz sound for the duration of the effect.
Anyone else hearing this?
The lack of a "Whoops! Sorry about the mistake!" post from an OcUK rep surprises me. Early impressions of the card are good, but the silence from OcUK sticks in my craw slightly.
