Honestly, started playing through AGAIN after 2.0 came out (I've still not finished a single play through yet!), but this now feels like it's a totally different game for me. The NPCs, police, immersion, it's all there now and so happy to be playing it through to the finish now (hopefully)!

thanks for the feedback so far. Defo made me reconsider and like the look of the double slatted wooden panels with some concrete slotted posts to make the maintenance far easier in years to come.

I’ve started playing this again after a VERY long hiatus… I started playing when 1.3 was out back in the day. It’s crazy how muscle memory and knowledge of the maps return and how well they hold up, even now. Would be up for some games if anyone is keen as I have an hour or so a night...

I’ve played this from day 1 and whilst there have been many, many bugs etc. I’m now actually getting into the game more than I ever have, just by exploring the world a lot more and FINALLY getting to grips with the inventory system etc… It’s not as bad as everyone makes it out to be IMO, yes...

These drivers and the latest patch have sorted the crashing for me! :) I must say, from never having played console games in many years, this game has me hooked so far, combined with the TV show release, makes great timing!

Yup! The squads I were in revived constantly and actually stayed together as opposed to before the update, no one really cared about sticking together. 1 person would be on A, 1 on C and 1 other randomer sniping on the edge of the map!

Loving the new update, the class system and squad dynamic is so much better, only had a few games so far, but people actually play as a squad now instead of solo!

Gunplay is definitely different in 2042, I wouldn't say it's better or worse, it's just different and for me, all previous BF games have always felt different compared to all COD games. I don't feel like I have any hit reg issues, these were addressed (IMO). I am one of those 'odd' people though...

Having played MW2 for the past few months, played this again last night and forgot how much I enjoyed this game and will be picking it back up more often. The diversity in play, the randomness in engagements (long range/short range) and the vehicles etc are a pretty good change of pace!
