Just seems a patch lacking in any substance which is not great for a live service game. A Season 1 patch should have big bang changes to inspire new builds and people to roll new classes but this is the opposite.
I was taking pre-season pretty casually but was looking forward to pushing season...
Bought it on PS5 for the couch co-op option. Playing a twisting blades rogue to start but I really enjoyed the necro in beta so may do a HC mode necro also.
Battlenet: HexGecko#1271 or PSN: HexGecko if anyone wants
Enjoying DMZ a lot but can be a bit unfocued with randoms. Hopefully get some gaming time this weekend if anyone facies going for some runs to get the gun blueprint.
Having some crashing eveery few hours, hopefully not my gfx card and jsut thye usual new game issues!
Battlenet: HexGecko#1271
I enjoyed it. Gameplay felt pretty tight, maps were good but a fraction boring. Occasionally felt I died to 2 shots to the foot so maybe some TTK tweaks like above. My aim is terrible on controller compaired to kbm so hard to judge TTK
I prefer the campaign and some casual MP on console but...
Been working on a big boi chaos knight. I enjoy painting knights, they are always quicker and easier then I expect. Also got a bunch of baby knights to get done for a Wardog spam list.
I'm struggling to enjoy 2042 for many of these reasons too.
I don't think 128 players makes the game better, in fact I think it throws off a ton of the map/vehicle/infantry balance. The games I've played have descended into 3-4 small TDM areas for infantry with the rest of the map is a...
Is it just me or is the sound totally busted?
It seems like I'm running around wearing earplugs with no accurate shooting, footsteps or even vehicle engine sounds.
CoD Vanguard also had bad sound but it's nothing compared to this...
The controller battery life is pretty frustrating. I went from 100% to empty in about 5 hours playing vanguard last night which is not exactly great.
I did get 2 controllers so quickly swappable but still...
Picked it up for the PS5 on a whim and very much enjoying it.
Campaign is a bit mixed. Some great missions, and some forgettable ones, with some nice moments like the burning windmill. But I suspect it will be short.
Multiplayer feels pretty great, the speed and flow of the matches plays well.
Just played the campaign into mission, not what I was expecting but I actually love the historical teaching It's almost like Microsoft Encarta from the 90's!
Seems to be getting some good reviews, shame about a couple of the combat gameplay decisions but I can understand the reasons.
Personally I'm going to wait for the raytracing patch on PS5 and play it on that.
