What "man jobs" have you done today?

Repaired the delaminated floor in my caravan, meaning that its now solid as a rock and ready for 6-7 months of annoying other road users :D What was purported to to be a half day job turned into a 1.5 day job and was very messy indeed, however now that it is done i feel a massive sense of...

How much do you spend on food a week?

£150 per week. (another £50 per week for partners childminding business food) 2 Adults, 1 Teenager (16) , 3 kids (7,10,10) All meals pretty much cooked from fresh. We bulk buy our meat, fish & poultry on a monthly basis and leftovers and soups are used for lunches at work. We could...

What film did you watch last night?

The Rack Pack (iplayer) Loved the story, loved some of the acting (Steve Davis and Barry Hearn) and absolutely hated with a passion the actor playing Alex Higgens. His accent was so bad that i think my 7 year old daughter could do a better job. 5/10 because of the accent.

What film did you watch last night?

Had a bit of a film fest yesterday.... Trainwreck. 5/10 What can i say...it was a train wreck, and i found it to be barely funny throughout, but bree larson was in it, and shes hot. The Martian. 9/10 Easily the best film i have watched this year, it would have had a 10 from me but...

What "man jobs" have you done today?

Very comfy, we purchased 2 x waterproof dog cushions from The Range and velcro'd them on, then the Mrs layed the throw on top.

What "man jobs" have you done today?

Just finished building a bit of pallet furniture, however I forgot to log the progress so there's just the finished product to show. Oh and we put some decking in too! :D I had no idea at all how much it was going to cost to deck an area approximately 6.5m x 5.8m, or how much all the...

    New top gear lineup..

Punters have been piling into Pinkham over the last week I re-read that a few times to make sure it said what I thought it did. Ive heard daft rumours about the grid going through her, but punters is another thing altogether! :D

    Parents !

I must be pretty lucky with my two (Boy 9 & Girl 6) then! I get them up, washed, teeth brushed, dressed and hairs done, packed lunches sorted and dropped off for breakfast with granddad by 7:30am. I don't know why some people fanny about so much and pander to their kids so much...YOU are...

What film did you watch last night?

Couldn't have put it better myself, it also should have been called Mad Furiosa, not Mad Max 6/10 from me.

How old are you and how often do you see your parents?

36, and I see my parents at least 1-2 times per week. As has already been said....you only get one set of parents, make the most of them, and appreciate them as they deserve to be appreciated. :D

The OcUK Relationship Counselling and Hugs Thread

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking, even more so after reading that OP had sat down with her and pretty much apologised for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong. There's something very amiss here, her actions are not those of a guilt free or loved up woman in a happy relationship. Man that...

Chris Evans signs 3 year deal for top gear

Just talking about it this morning and Guy Martin would definitely be my choice of co-presenter...his passion for absolutely anything is unreal and infectious as hell. Unfortunately I doubt that Chris Evans can carry this show, at the end of the day Jeremy Clarkson was pretty much Top Gear.

What film did you watch last night?

Chappie So many things annoyed me about this film, add in the fact that its just distinctly average. I have the feeling that Neil Blomkamp hit his peak with his first film, and both films since then have gotten worse. Also, that Yolandi Visser bird is absolutely rank, so I cant even say...

How much did it cost you get married?

Too much. Save your pennies for a mega holiday and have a much smaller, low key wedding instead. You'll remember the day just the same, but you'll remember the mega holiday even more

Winter Is Coming - HBO's A Game of Thrones [READ WARNING]

I didn't gel with this episode at all, apart from a couple of nice interactions, mainly between lady olenna and the high sparrow chap, and the reek scenes. In fact id go as far as to say that it was my least favourite episode from the entire 5 series so far shown.

What film did you watch last night?

Kingsman 8/10 It was very enjoyable indeed, ridiculous, cheesy, over the top and well acted all at the same time....ill definitely watch it again. Macfarland USA 4/10 I usually like sport/biographical type films, but this one was just plain boring and uninteresting.

Formula 1: Drivers will ask fans about state of sport

Id like to see the following, although I doubt my ideas would be popular. 1) Similar engine protocols to WEC allowing for more variety. 2) Tyres that actually allow the drivers to drive to their limits 3) Get rid of DRS, but allow greater use of hybrid technology to compensate A...

The OcUK Relationship Counselling and Hugs Thread

Couldn't have put it better, the best thing about having little kids is the fact that no matter what happens they love you unconditionally! The kids are your and yours ex's common ground, never ever use them as weapons, never bad mouth the other parent to them, remember that its pointless...
