When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

The 7900gre pricing suggests the 7800xt and 7700xt are now overpriced in the UK by around £50 each since it released which then aligns with the rest of the world for these and some of the temporary discoubta now appearing in the UK. The 7800xt is more expensive than the 7900gre in some cases...

The RX 7900 GRE as of 20/03/2024 - Not such a flawed product?

7700xt pulse was significantly cheaper, shame about that 12GB memory though

The RX 7900 GRE as of 20/03/2024 - Not such a flawed product?

The pulse is definitely 320mm along with the pure and nitro. The pulse was my first choice as my recent cards have all been Sapphire but 320mm is at the case scraping limit, TPU list it as 313 but the review shows it to be 320mm :( My options are either ASrock -269mm&305mm , Gigabyte-302mm and...

*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

That's the one I've been eyeing up as the Sapphire's are at the limit length wise for my case, even if I'd like to go for the pulse. Was hoping for more feedback on the steel legend by now, as I've no previous with ASrock and GPUs.

*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Agree entirely but you are kidding yourself if you think the current 'acceptable' mid-range price of £500 doesn't get upgraded to £700 in two years time for equivalent performance levels. By then £500 will get you a 9500xt 16GB or a 6050 4GB ;)

The RX 7900 GRE as of 20/03/2024 - Not such a flawed product?

In the same boat with almost buying a rabbit ear card, although I must admit the 8800xt rumours have stopped me clicking on the buy button for now. Currently I'm still running a vega, so either card is going to be a huge leap in performance. The rumoured increased RT performance and likely power...

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

That is one way they can shift focus rather than just abandoning the consumer segment and leaving it to AMD. For those who really must have Nvidia then there is geforce now or continue to pay the increasing premium. I find it hard to believe Intel will be the saviour either via either affordable...

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

Surely this is just Nvidia gradually aligning their consumer product prices with their professional? Every price increase previously has been met with increased sales, so why would Nvidia not continue to keep raising prices as consumers are only happy to oblige so far. From a commercial aspect...

    NVIDIA 4000 Series

You say that but Nvidia are still searching for the ceiling and I don't think we are there yet. My arbitrary limit is about £500 so I was out a long time ago for anything remotely highend. If anyone can justify paying up to £2k for a GPU then another £500 on top is nothing really. When GPUs are...

The RX 7900 GRE as of 20/03/2024 - Not such a flawed product?

Has there been any announcement on when these are available today as I'm curious how disappointing the UK prices will be? A bit of research suggests some of the smaller cards will fit my case so one of these could be a contender.

The RX 7900 GRE as of 20/03/2024 - Not such a flawed product?

Agree entirely. I'm just about still running a Vega and desperate to upgrade to something that can run 1440 for the foreseeable. But AMD are as much of a turn off as Nvidia currently. Eurogamer seem to think that the 7900GRE will be £519 which may be a direct coversion and wishful thinking on...

Masssive Xbox leak reveals new consoles

This suggests they are abandoning physical entirely for next gen, they will just need to continue to support the legacy for the remainder of this gen. Then it is back to the Xbox one plan that was originally scrapped due to the backlash.

Masssive Xbox leak reveals new consoles

Well it looks like no need for me to upgrade to a series X now if physical is dead, or at least as good as. MS releases will be PC only going forward, been holding off but it is now time to get a PS5 for TV gaming and media, just a shame they are so huge. The released details also suggest that...

    Any news on 7800 xt?

So what you are saying is, where is the 7800XTX :D

    Any news on 7800 xt?

Trying to be as open minded as possible as I need to move on from an 8GB card, otherwise it is a lengthy wait for next gen :D Hopefully the leaked synthetic benchmark was not reflective of the real world performance or down to early drivers. Anyway not too long to wait now. Hopefully there will...

    Any news on 7800 xt?

Yes the 7800XT looks more of a base 6800 analogue at best. The 6800XT equivalent should at least be the 7900GRE, but then there are likely not enough failed 7900s to provide the required quantity. Saying that we all know the real 7800XT was rebadged as the 7900XT. I really would like to upgrade...

    Any news on 7800 xt?

I was tempted by the £699 deal but I think i'm going to see how starfield runs on various hardware first. I'm sure it will be fine on the steam deck for now :D 7900XT at least seems more future proof than the 7800XT specs although as ever it hinges on pricing if released on Friday

    Any news on 7800 xt?

Unless AMD are generous with the pricing it will be yet another underwhelming release. I just cannot justify 7900 pricing and these new releases seem to be stagnant products and DOA at the rumoured prices. Meet you back here in 6 months for the inevitable price drops. Bundling starfield is not...

    Any news on 7800 xt?

7700XT looks to be a 12GB card and doesn't meet the recommended specs for starfield. So looks like another gen stuck with a vega for me. I want at least 16GB and enough grunt to last a while at 1440 before I upgrade. The 7800XT likely meets this but looks barely an upgrade on the current gen...

    Any news on 7800 xt?

I think AMD have been through enough cycles now to realise that it doesn't make a difference what they do with the pricing of their products. It makes more business sense to just follow the leader with slightly lower prices to make as much profit as possible. Why should AMD significantly reduce...
