*** The official iPhone 14 thread (it can talk to satellites, has AOD and everything!) ***

Anyone know why the battery widget on my iPhone 14 pro suddenly has brackets around it “(3)”? Can’t for the life of me work out why.

    Valve announces the SteamDeck

Apparently it’s all caused by Joystick drift. When I try to calibrate the right joystick the test is already giving me values and drifts hard to the bottom. The Steam button and options button won’t work because SteamOS thinks I’m moving the right joystick Going to have to be an immediate RMA.

    Valve announces the SteamDeck

Tried that. Did a shut down, re-boot, factory reset, re-image. I’m out of options. Think it’s going to be an RMA one day after receiving it!

    Valve announces the SteamDeck

When doing the Test Device Inputs, should all the values be 0? My right trigger has values immediately populated.

    Valve announces the SteamDeck

Got my Steam Deck yesterday, new, but I’m having issue with the physical Steam and Options button. Neither of them bring up the UI menus when I physically press them. I’ve run the controller test and SteamOS recognise me pressing those buttons, they fill with blue. Anyone know what I need to...

    3070FE Overheating?

Thanks for the advice all. I'll play around with the fan curves a little and see if I can knock a few degrees off. Given how small the case is if I can get it to a stable mid 70c I'll be more comfortable.

    3070FE Overheating?

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll try that. Temps in game seem to be under 80c now in most instances. Hovers at the upper end of 70c. But hopefully this is manageable for the card.

    3070FE Overheating?

1920x1080 running at 144hz That's a good point. The FPS in the menus hit silly numbers for obvious reasons. Is there something I should be doing here?

    3070FE Overheating?

Have bought some low profile fans to place at the bottom of the case blowing fresh air directly at the card. Will do some more measurements. BUT the strangest thing, is the Card ramps up to 99% usage within game menus and then drops whilst in gameplay. Weird right?!?

    3070FE Overheating?

Yeah could be right, see if I can get some slim fans to fit. Down there I could probably fit one. Where would be best to place it? Towards the front or back of the card?

    3070FE Overheating?

Tried to run some more tests. Fan is actually hovering around 70% speed (used GPU-Z) . Yet to see the card rise about 80c though. I might try re-seating it. Not sure what that'll do. I enabled Resizable Bar if that could be a reason? The case is a small Corsair Air 240, so could definitely be...

    3070FE Overheating?

Brand new 3070FE installed today. At idle the card hovers at 40c but within minutes of playing a game it ramps up to 80c, with almost max fans. Does this sound faulty? Anything worth a try?

    New 6700xt not posting...

Installed mine today, no issues so far. As others have said, using 2x 8 pin cables (although this card only needs 1x 8pin and 1x 6pin - despite the spec sheet!). I did initially have an issue posting, but just moved the Display Port cable into a different port on the card and it worked...

    6700 XT Owners Thread

For 6700XT, Red Devil is overclocked with three fans, Hellhound standard clocks with three fans, Fighter standard clocks with two fans. That's my understanding.

100%, don't plan on going above that for a while yet. Looking for more rocksteady 144hz frames at 1080p.

Using a single Dual 8+8 Pin PCI-E Cable?

I own a Corsair RM650x PSU and am upgrading my old 1070TI for an 6700XT. The new GPU requires two 8-pin PCI Express Power connectors The Corsair RM650x includes a PCI Express Power cable with two 8-pins on it (6+2 and 6+2). Is it OK to use this or should I really be using a 2nd completely...
