Our daughter was fine on the plane when we went away last August. Didn't have a problem with her ears either.
Worst part for her (and me) was the inexplicable queueing. At the gate and passport control.
Not sure why you wouldn't apply for child benefit as you get National Insurance credits when you claim. So if one parent isn't working / earning enough it'll cover gaps in NI record for that period.
Yes and I highly doubt anyone would put it in UK equities, maybe those FTSE listed companies which don't actually operate within the UK.
I imagine most would just shift any UK bond holdings they have or were planning to purchase to the £5k 'British ISA' and use the whole of their 'normal'...
