Yup, that would seem to be the case
I guess I was one of the lucky ones, in that it actually seemed to install from the disk... fairly quick progress and prompted me when to insert second one, etc.
Single Player is awesome :D - can't comment on Multiplayer as haven't given it a blast...
ffmpeg lets you extract video frames to .png so I would have thought it will let do the reverse (as in your case).
Have a look at this, seems like it might give you a start: http://pr0gr4mm3r.com/linux/how-to-create-a-time-lapse-video-using-ffmpeg/
Have you created a partition in the extra space and assigned it a drive letter? In the Computer Management tool, under Disk Management, you can manage the partitioning of your disks (in Vista anyway, imagine it's similar in Win7).
We use BulkSMS where I work - they provide a very comprehensive developer API that allows you to generate message reports as well as do the standard stuff like send SMS messages.

Never had any problems with them.

Look at all the money the BBC throw at the iPlayer, and they haven't yet found a way to prevent the streamed programs being ripped to disk... ;)
This bugs me  The last three games I've bought haven't created either, just an entry in the Games Explorer in Vista. Means I can't just type the first few characters in the Search box on the Start Menu to launch the game...
Otherwise, COD5 is excellent - good addition to the series!
