I disagree, OSX looks very dated compared to Windows 8.1, IMO, with all it's needless shininess and tacky animations (the minimise animation and stupid explosion when you delete certain things are particularly bad). These sort of things were cool when XP was popular and couldn't do flashy...

Soft buttons look awful :( Everything else looks great :) I really feel it's only in the last year or two that Android has really grown up as an operating system - Apple has previously been way more polished. Now though, Android are truly leading the charge and leaving Apple playing catch...

FYI, I just 'upgraded' my computer. Basically everything was new. Windows 8 OEM wouldn't activate without phoning them up, but it was just a simple, tedious affair of reading a string of numbers to a robot.

Firstly, Canadian phone operators are really, really terrible - the worst in the world. Like seriously there are probably third world countries with better plans. Expect to get ripped off. They don't really do PAYG as in the UK - they usually do month to month plans, but Koodo do something...
