I just ordered a set of these, due for delivery Wednesday hopefully. Does anyone have a set yet please? Seen a few comments regarding low volume over wireless (60db) compared to wired (80db), but overall feedback seems great so far.
32 devices connected to the Asus router now but a lot of those are Hue lights
I’ve tried isolating just a wifi laptop etc and it disconnects at the same interval
Wifi on a laptop and wired to my main pc
I’ve tried two more wifi laptops at the same time and they all drop at the same moment.
The think broadband monitor can’t see the drop and neither can Virgin but it’s enough to freeze warzone for 2-3 seconds
I did leave it running for about 4 hours previously when the last engineer came, so he could see it (I wasn’t in). One on wifi and one wired. Both dropped at the same time every 6 mins/360seconds.
I’ll leave it running overnight and see if it does it when there’s next to no traffic
I’ve tried a few network cables and the issue persists. It’s from Amazon and is Cat6 I believe
As I say it affects wifi too and other connected devices both wired and wifi. Virgin can’t see the issue from their end and I seem to be getting nowhere with getting another engineer out
Hi, yea I’ve tried all of that and now bought a Asus AX82u and still have the exact same issue.
Had another engineer booked for yesterday 4-7 but they didn’t show. I guess I’ll just have to keep at them until an engineer shows but after two Hub 4’s and a new router it surely must be an issue...

So Virgin could see a problem and tried to auto fix, then a remote engineer did ‘something’ and today a field engineer came out and changed my Hub 4 for a new one.
I still get a 1 second disconnection exactly every 6 minutes over both wired and wifi.

DT700 Pro X or DT900 Pro X is a newly designed model and a step up from what you have, so certainly worth a look. I had 900 with a G6 and they sounded great. They’re slightly less bright than yours but still have lots of detail.

Yes via a 10m Ethernet cable. Other wireless devices and other wires show the same behaviour in online games so must be the router or incoming stream
I wanted 1gb line anyway so worth trying to see if Hub4 is the issue.
