    iRacing

I also have the Playseat Challenge and I'm very happy with it. I did have to buy an aftermarket mount for my H pattern shifter, so the price wasn't much different to the F-GT Lite in the end. I think much depends on your size and how you store it folded. The Playseat is narrower and fits me...

Thinking of getting vr but don't know where to start

I bought a Rift S earlier this month. I had an RX580 8gb and it simply wasn't enough to run most VR as I wanted to (I'm mostly interested in sim racing, though more graphically simple games are fine). I've since bought a RTX 3070 (yes, I actually found one to buy!) and have a new CPU on it's...

anyone switched from a gaming pc to a next gen console?

I've been debating this issue myself over the past couple of months. For sure, next-gen console power vs the price of PC gaming means the consoles make more sense. I've been using both for a number of years - the top-spec last gen consoles and a decent mid range PC. I've suprised myself by...

    G29 wheel on PS4

My G29 works with no bother on a ps4 pro. I don't have the crew 2 or NFS heat, but I do have GT sport and I don't think it even required calibration to work as it should do for that. Have you ensured the selector switch on the top of the wheel is set for PS4, not PS3? Failing that, it sounds...

    Rift s whos getting one?

I don’t know the answer to this, but it’s the same question I have! Does anybody have experience with this card? I’m interested in vr for sim racing.

    *** Nintendo Switch ***

I didn't like BOTW at first either. The weapon and shield degredation mechanic really annoyed me. I got it in December 2017 and finally completed in December 2019! When I did go back to the game in late 2019 I decided to give it a proper go and tolerate the weapons breaking. So glad I did...

    GAMING THIS GENERATION ........POOR

For me at close to 40, age does make a difference. So many games require a massive investment of time which I no longer have to give. Also, probably because I can afford a little more nowadays, I tend to give up on games more easily and go on to trying something else, rather than really...

    JRPGs. Am I missing out?

I think this is part of the problem. So much Japanese material is full of teenage angst and waffle! Not all of it thankfully. Lost Odyssey looks like an interesting suggestion which I'd never even considered.

    JRPGs. Am I missing out?

Yes, I can’t say the storyline was terribly inspiring, but I loved the atmosphere of it. Thanks for the suggestions. If I ever get to the end of one, there’s many hours in any one of those, so it’s just a matter of deciding which one to try first!

    JRPGs. Am I missing out?

I’ve been playing games for many years now. I like many different types of game, but have never actually managed to keep engaged in any Japanese RPG enough to complete one. I’ve finished many western RPGs and thoroughly enjoyed them (e.g. Oblivion, Skyrim, Witcher 3, Fallout 3, Deus ex games)...

Your thoughts on new 1080p gaming build?

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I'll certainly wait for the RX590. For the monitor I wanted flat (not curved) and 144hz Freesync. I thought I'd found something suitable but nobody seems to like that one?! Is Intel the best way to go then? So many of the build suggestions on here...

Your thoughts on new 1080p gaming build?

Hello, I'm looking to build a new PC for gaming. I'm happy with 1080p resolution but keen to have reasonable FPS and Freesync. I'm not looking to play competitive online shooters etc. so don't need massive FPS however. What are your thoughts on this build and is there anything I've forgotten...

The OcUK Relationship Counselling and Hugs Thread

Is she on any medication? Some can completely remove the ability to climax, e.g. certain antidepressants.

    Prey PS4. Unplayable control bug.

I bought Prey on the PS4 yesterday, so straight to a new game on 1.02. I can tell the movement is sensitive but it actually works very well with no drifting.

    strapping luggage to your bike.

Nothing else you should consider, rok straps are the best option. I've recently been researching/considering alternative luggage options and even the really expensive alternatives are just variations on the theme, rather than offering something noticably better.

    Bike Gear Thread

Helmet: AGV K5 Jacket: (and trousers...) Aerostich Roadcrafter Classic one piece suit; Triumph Adventure mesh jacket. Textile/Leather/Kevlar Jeans: I own some Draggin cargo pants, plus older textile gear and leathers I no longer really use. Gloves: Dianese short gloves for summer; Weise...

    £4000 all rounder - commuting/touring/weekend blasts

I run two bikes, both BMWs: R1200ST (2005, with ABS) and K1200S (2006, with ABS and Electronic Suspension Control). Really I don't need two, but considering they both appear similar, I love both for different reasons! The K1200S has a truly awesome amount of power. More than you'll ever need...

    Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

Fantastic game, although I never finished it (was tempted by newer consoles at the time). Still have it however. I'm a fan of H.P. Lovecraft, whose work seems to have (unofficially) quite heavily influenced this game.

    Flights to Japan

Have a look at KLM, changing at Amsterdam Schiphol. We used them a couple of years ago flying to Tokyo with a change there, but I see they also do Amsterdam - Fukuoka. You can book your luggage all the way through and the change is really easy.
