NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, the flagship reinvented

Just got a notification from Discord and its back in stock, I got my refund notification email this morning so I guess all the people like me who checked if they could buy another FE and then cancelled have put them back into the stock system.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, the flagship reinvented

It does let Nvidia get people used to the idea of 450 watt cards which seems to be where the starting point for higher end 4000 is going to be. I will be able to turn off the heating next winter and just game for few hours in shorts and a t shirt. :D

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, the flagship reinvented

They let me buy one earlier, even though I got a 3080 FE last year and they added PayPal as an option now. I cancelled it already as it was just an experiment to see if I could get one as I have a 3080 ti.

    OcUK RTX3090TI review thread

I got a Discord message about the Founders Edition and it let me buy one even though I have already got a 3080 FE previously. Not sure if the 1 card policy has changed for whales. I cancelled it straight away obviously as its a mental price especially when next gen cards will be out before to long.

Sapphire Pulse rx 6800 xt waterblock

The only thing I can suggest is to see if you can find a picture of the pcb to compare against Sapphire's Nitro+ card which has Alphacool and Bykski blocks. I can't see them creating a totally different pcbs for the Reference, Nitro+ and Pulse versions. By eye the Pusle looks very similar to...

    Case For 12700k + Noctua NH-U12A Chromax

I am in the middle of building a PC for son in the Lian Li Lancool Mesh II and its a nice case, not a massive footprint but plenty of room and the front fan removable cage is a nice feature. My only small gripe is the hard drive cage that can't be removed without forcing it. I left it in as...

    5000D Distro

I think the Phanteks D140 looks like it would fit in the rear fan mount, it depends if you want to vertically mount the Gpu as it extends down the side of the PCIe bays. Failing that they do a D120 version which is rectangular and should fit any 120mm fan housing with less ports.

    30xx Series Founders Edition

I have already got mine in my system but managed to find a weight of 2.2 pounds on Amazon.com which converts to 1 kilo. It's only a single slot bracket but as it's short so it shouldn't sag if held in by the thumbscrew tightly. The block is great, on my Ti I pushed the power limit to 114 and...

    30xx Series Founders Edition

A lot of hot air comes out through the I/O end, I had mine on the floor next to the desk whilst waiting to fit its waterblock and I could feel the heat blown out. It was vertically mounted blowing onto the motherboard so certainly not the optimum positioning but ran fan without becoming loud.

    30xx Series Founders Edition

3090 still available at 1.30pm, I guess they have reached near market saturation now. I briefly considered one but have a 3080 Ti and don't plan on mining so a bit pointless for the extra 12gb of memory.

o11 dynamic xl vs p600s vs Corsair 5000x

The Phanteks P600s is great case, decent room for future watercooling and handy things like the removable top fan/radiator plate. It fits the Phantek D140 distro plate in the rear slot and you can vertically mount Gpus out of the box or buy the aftermarket Pcie conversion kit to leave more...

    30xx Series Founders Edition

It's been the next day a couple of times, it was when I got my 3080FE last drop.

    Corsair 680x vs 5000x

Have you looked at the Corsair 500d Rgb Se, similar size to the 5000X and includes a Commander Pro. I just bought one for a build I am selling as it's in a Phanteks 719 at the moment but without any watercooling it looks a bit daft with all the empty space. Just under £91 if you google it at...

Thanks, I just have to admire the crystal Rgb goodness until OCUK get the waterblock in stock.

3080ti in stock 1h after alert

I was joking, I know the 3080 Ti is a silly buy but I wanted the extra bit of performance at 4k and wanted one with a higher power envelop. I got a 3080 FE in the previous drop so couldn't get another FE and I am picky about which AIB due to adding it to my custom loop. I should have been...

3080ti in stock 1h after alert

I got a Palit 3080 Ti Gamerock as they now have an Alphacool waterblock for it. I ordered then cancelled an Msi 3080 Ti Suprim a few weeks ago that was £1695 so I have saved £295! ;)

    3080 stock recovering?

Well today I have seen a 3080 for £999 and a 3070 Ti for £660, both were obviously gone in minutes but these were on big UK online retailers. Hang on and keep your eyes peeled if you are in the market. I managed to get a 3080 FE last week but am now addicted to price watching. :D

*The Official PlayStation 5 (PS5) Thread*

Managed to get one from that drop for my lads 21st birthday with a Discord notification so they do work but you have keep refreshing for a couple of minutes until it shows up to add to basket. I had been looking on Facebook marketplace but most where £100 mark up but there were quite a few so...

How much WILL you pay for a graphics card?

This what I did with my 2080 non super, I got more on the auction site than it cost me two years earlier and about £200 more than I would have expected if there was any 3060 Ti stock at Msrp. I bought a 6800 Xt Nitro+ from Overclockers for £860 which was only 20% above Msrp  but I had...

    Still a rip off?

If its your hobby and that's the only card available to complete the SFF build and you can afford it then relax and enjoy the finished product. I recently got into watercooling during lockdown due to boredom and spent a fortune on fittings and £500 just on 12 Corsair Ql fans and 2 controllers...
