The owner of the car that caught fire will claim for their destroyed car through his/her insurance. All other car owners will need to do the same with THEIR insurer, the original car owner is not liable for what happened to all the other cars as it was an accidental fire, unless it was...
Looking at the NHS website I have 8/10 symptoms of heat exhaustion, not surprising when it hasn't been below 28C in nearly 5 days, currently 32C.
I wonder if there are grants for AC due to health?
The other thread talking about thunder storms makes me wishful.
That is poor but at least amazon rectified the situation without any hassle.
Whats the deal with deliveries these days anyway? OPs parcel wasn't delivered, it was abandoned, albeit very close to the destination!
I guess profits are so good they can write off all these undelivered items? :/
32C here and want to die. Though its been too hot all week, today takes the biscuit.
My Dad has gone for a drive so he can have some air con, I wonder how many others have done the same? Don't tell the just stop oil lot lol.
Just found the paperwork and I bought mine in December 2010. It's been running 24/7 since then and still is.
Shame the new ones are stupidly expensive.
Still loving mine and now i've upgraded from a 1st gen i7 to a 12th gen i7 I can finally make good use of that high referesh rate.
However, i've been experiencing the black screen for a second or two issue in some games that others have commented on here and elsewhere.
Seems to boil down to a...
31C all day and 29C all night, fantastic. AC as standard when?
Thoughts of 35C+ temps fills me with dread. Will probably have to spend all day in the garden as it will be too warm to even enter the house! More likely head to asda and "browse" for several hours.
Half Ten at night and 25C, got all the windows open and still feels too hot. Whats this nonsense about needing heating?
Oh I see its October not Summer... weathers gone mad.
Slightly annoying issue is the power button turns the monitor off completely and windows no longer detects it, unlike my 2 other Dell monitors which are still "there" while the screen is turned off.
Found this forum thread on Dells site which does work but was wondering if anyone knows of any...
33.6C. Last night was unbearable, didn't drop below 31C and got a whole 2.5 hours sleep. :(
End of the week shows the start of a more sensible 25C, though that still means it'll be too hot indoors but hey its something.
10pm, 22.4C outside, 32C inside!
Absolutely horrible day, drenched through, just about made it. Crazy neighbours have a fire going in their garden, like it isn't hot enough already...
Its currently 16C outside, which equates to 26C inside :( , but grey/gloomy with odd spells of rain.
This temp is lovely when its bright and sunny out.
Been over 30C indoor since 10am. :( Showing 26.3C outside in the shade.
Need a way to cool the house down that isn't AC. I was wondering would a cold water sprinkler system work? Spraying the sides of the house to help get rid of all that absorbed energy/heat.
Depends on location and house construction but really the anti-frost setting should suffice.
For context, 80s built house in Essex, our boiler packed up about 2 weeks ago and so we were without heating for a few days. Even before we got some plugin heaters the house never went below 16C!
