Definitely worth visiting. Did a three week Malaysia trip a few years back - also went to Penang, Langkawi, Malacca and rounded off with a couple of nights in Singapore.
7 days in KL is at least 2 too many. If you are able to, a couple of days in Penang/Langkawi would round out the trip nicely IMO.
Giants games have all been sold out for about the past 6 or 7 years. I believe they have a streak of around 500 consective sold out games. One of the few baseball stadiums that doesn't tend to have a large number of available seats to choose from on the day.
