This ^ I've just installed my Win 7 OEM on it's fourth completely different PC built/laptop. Only ever using on one PC at a time though of course. This last time I had to ring Microsoft and go through an automated verification process which took about 5 minutes but worked seamlessly :)

OK so I set the 1.9V down to 1.3 (1.2 is the lowest it will go) ande it wouldn't post, even put the multi back to stock too, so I'm thinking that the 1.9 voltage isn't actually for that function? So confused. Also can a mod move this to OC section please? my bad

I thought that, but then it says 1.220v Vcore Volt, which I assumed was the actual voltage as I'd never heard of CPU input Volt before :/ Is this the motherboard setting it's own voltage for the i5 then? What voltage should I be looking for do you think?

Is the M4 recognised in BIOS? If not try a different SATA port, what mobo? EDIT: read sig now :o

Thread does seem a bit trashed doesn't it? Is it not a thought to build your own? As said you can get a good spec PC for your budget. How long would you like it to last before upgrade/replacement? If you must go down the pre-built route what about getting a good base system and upgrading...

Maybe giving OcUK a call directly would be the best idea, If they build it then i guess they have the best and most trustworthy answer on that one :)
