Well, been using Vista on my mates Laptop and i think it is stunning. Fast for me and well presented. A joy to use. A big improvement on XP as far as i am concerned. I will be getting Home Premium when things settle down.
Burnsy is only trying to give the vast knowledge that he has to others. He is passionate about people going against the EULA but he does not have to give any reasons i suppose. That is up to him.
Advise against it all you like but i bet it has been done thousands of times already in the world. Millions of times really, and it will be done again and again. I can't see MS doing what you say they would do. That is unrealistic.
Thing is, as we know, you can buy one bad MOBO after another. In the past i have had 3 faulty TFT's in a row! This can happen with any component. They know this. So, it would not be that unusual to have a string of faulty Mobo's. Be it a week apart of several months apart. A lot of People on...
How would they know it was either an upgrade (Similar mobo) or a Faulty one? You could say it was a faulty one but installed a newer one instead? They would have to take your word for it.
Anyway. I will be getting Vista Home Premium when it comes out as my mate has Ultimate on his Laptop and it looks stunning. I do change components quite a bit so the retail version is the better one in the long run, especially as MS are rumoured to be getting stricter on the OEM reactivation...
What are you on about? Are you from earth?
I don't care who makes the most out of Vista. What is the above text you wrote got anything to do with the Thread?
Vista is only too expensive compared to the USA where it is a lot cheaper.
