    The Ashes 2013-14: Australia v England [21st Nov - 2nd Feb] *** spoilers ***

Listen to the last cricinfo podcast with George Dobell who was out in Australia covering the series. Said Pietersen was working in the nets with other players 1 on 1 with no other coaches in sight. He says both Anderson and Broad both now bat with his stance as he's been coaching them. Even said...

    Audi S4 3.0 or BMW 335i LCI

Had a 335i (manual) and now have a S4 (S-tronic). As has been said the B8 models are 3 litre V6 Supercharged rather than V8s. MPG wise I seem to be averaging about 5/6mpg less in the S4 compared to the 335 although not sure how much of that is because of the manual vs stronic. The 335 felt...

What card for dual 27 inch

Ok thanks, might go for the 7750 then and run one of them off a display port.

What card for dual 27 inch

How weak are they? Too weak for day to day use of work applications like netbeans, SQL client, office, putty, very occasional Fireworks etc at 2560 x 1440? Or could you run it from a 7750 using the 1 DVI and 1 display ( or mini with adapter), as the monitor supports display port? eg...

What card for dual 27 inch

Some of the 640's seem to have 2*DVI-D dual link unless I'm mistaken? Such as: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-104-GI&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=

What card for dual 27 inch

Company will be paying rather than me personally so there isn't a fixed, it's just a case of what ever is needed that isn't going over the top considering it'll be for office use. Personal view was to see what the cheapest card with dual link DVI was? We'll be getting a few of these machines...

What card for dual 27 inch

Nah it's going to be the work machine so no gaming machine at all. I was pricing the machine up on the system configuration page so the options are: MSI HD 5450 1024MB GDDR5 Sapphire HD 7770 1024MB GDDR5 (temporarily out of stock) - [add £61.67] Sapphire HD 7850 1024MB GDDR5 - [add £95.00]...

What card for dual 27 inch

Am pricing up a machine and need some help picking a graphics card. It's a work PC so doesn't need to be top end at all and will probably be connected to a pair of Asus PB278Q 27 inch monitors. Will it need to have 2 dual link DVI connectors to run them both at full res? Any suggestions?

    Filemaker Developers?

Bit of both to be honest. The way it was originally set up however many years ago is certainly a contributing factor. The newer Filemaker versions may well be a lot better. As I said it might be worth talking to some consultancies.

    Filemaker Developers?

We use Filemaker in work. Old 5/6 system that's intertwined with some PHP/MySQL systems. It's always a nightmare for us! There are plenty of Filemaker consultancies out there that could help/advise, one that we've used are called Data Therapy.

335i with 70k on the clock

From what I remember when I got mine is that the early ones start at 228 before moving down below the tax band in sept 2007 onwards. As Fox says be wary of any quoted mpg figures. I tend to get low to mid 20s round town and mid 30s quite easily on the motorway. But if your doing minimal miles...

    Gigabyte EX58-UD4 & OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800C8

Hi, Am having some issues with a new build. Basic specs are i7 920, Gigabyte UD4, OCZ UD4. I may have tracked it down to RAM as putting in different sticks gives different levels of stability. One stick won't even let me get into windows at the mo. They are currently sat at the...

    i7 Spec Check

Hi, I've fallen a bit out of touch with the latest hardware but my old machine is in need of replacing so I'm gonna build an i7 rig. Now I have a 600w PC Power & Cooling PSU which I'm hoping to use. I also have a 7900GTX graphics card that would last me for a little while longer if...
