Monitor is back up and running again :) As said previously, this one is a Li Shin! Wierd how they've changed power supply suppliers, but given the number of duff ones of the other type they've had, maybe it's not surprising!

Should have my new PSU today. Fingers, toes and everything crossed that when it died, it didn't take the screen with it!

I had the flashing lines across the screen too when I got this replacement screen back. Since changing to the other DVI output on my Radeon 4850 not had any snow/corruption/flashing lines whatsoever. Have you tried changing output?

Updated my post - I am now (for the time being) snow free, but although reducing the vertical frequency in Powerstrip reduced my snow, it didn't go completely. In the worst case, the snow was so bad, it was manifesting as distinct green flickering vertical lines. Not good! In Hazro's defence...

My screen (or rather a different one) is back. To be fair, I wanted a new screen as I had a nasty accident with my first. Tried to change to HDMI to see if it solved my snow problem, and whilst reaching behind screen with HDMI cable, the very tip of the cable lightly touched the screen coating...

You can screen grab it. Obviously, on most monitors, it won't show the problem, but it will help the people who have the HZ24Wi but haven't seen the green sparking identify whether their monitors have the problem as when they view the image, they will see the sparking.
