    UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 14th April 2022]

Exception to the rule then, I usually find Toffees are a lot more 'glass half empty' when talking football :D

You should try being married to one (Scouse Liverpool fan). Could be worse though, she could be a Toffee :D

Great stuff, glad you settled on one and are pleased with the results. Keep this thread updated though, I'll be interested to hear how you go

    New Man Utd Manager Search

That's the kind of thinking which will keep United where they currently are. He's only got another season left on his contract anyway and there's been no talk about him extending that. I don't see him doing anything other than seeing that out whatever happens in this season's CL. I would...

    Show Us Your Motors!

The Aston is awful though, the front end reminds me of Clarkson driving the Atom, colour aside (comes with matching iPhone 13 I presume?). In fairness I'm sure my Golf Mk7 (in iPhone silver) is just as awful to some ;):D

Hehe, indeed, the hair's enough on its own. Aside from his ability to draw fouls he's not on Foden's level.

    [PIC_THREAD] Landscapes, Architecture, Seascapes

I guess it makes more sense if you're bracketing or focus stacking and you're shooting the same composition a few times but just for your own reference for when you've imported them to whatever library/catalogue you use, stick the lens cap on or wave your hand in front after you take the last...

    [PIC_THREAD] Landscapes, Architecture, Seascapes

That's the thing, just giving it a go. What I would say is get things right in camera first (eg if you think you need extra shots take them) and take a shot with the lens cap on in between each series.

Thanks. I find I do it quite a bit when I'm close to some foreground interest I want to emphasise and I'm shooting @16mm or similar - a lot of the time I can get away with two focus shots. I have my camera set up so I can digitally zoom at the touch of a button and check focus then go through...

Morning light... Enjoying the light as the sun rose behind me, from a cairn on Penycloddiau looking over the Vale of Clwyd to Snowdonia in the distance. Four shots focus stacked (shot at 82mm) with an additional shot for the sky. Morning light by Andy Davis, on Flickr

    The Sony A73/A7R3/A7S3/A9 Thread

Do you need the MP? If not the A7IV will do a grand job with the 200-600. Finding birds at 800mm isn't so much of a problem, I'd be more concerned at being stuck at f11. I'm surprised at you struggling with the R5/Sigma combo, especially if it's R-mount. If I find I'm getting soft images I...

    New Man Utd Manager Search

It's not though when you look at the quality in the squad. The problem is the owners (happy for the odd trophy plus chimps league football so long as they can leech cash from the cash cow), the aimless management structure within the club from chief exec down and the expectations of the fans and...

Canon versus Epson large format photographic printers? A3+

The 1000 is a bit too rich for me too, especially cartridge prices, but if I were doing my own I'd like that A2 option. Still, I'm interested to see what you go for and how you fare.

PC Spec for high quality digital art in Photoshop?

I was going to suggest a Mac (Studio) if it's a computer for digital art and little else. Budget around £3k once you've upped the ram, bought a keyboard and some fast external drives.
