Possibly, but if they had em I think they would be shipping them, as they know so many people want them. I've ordered my E6420, but it still hasn't been dispatched yet, I think they might have said they got em in stock, but not send em out till the 23rd, which will really FULLY STAR OUT...

Yeah, but a lot of components aside from the cpu/gpu still get hot. There's HDD's, NB, SB, voltage regulators, ramsinks on graphics, otherside of the core on the graphics card, there's loads of heat outputting devices. With watercooling, you might only need a small amount of airflow in the case...

AFAIK, if it's like other TEC coolers, it will need the power, otherwise it is just acting as a normal heatsink. Someone who has one though should confirm that to make sure I'm not just making that up. :rolleyes:

+1 I couldn't fault my S12 in a single way. Rock solid voltages, loads of cables with good length, and dead silent. In my silent pc, can't even hear it at load.

Just checked out their mosfet blocks, look pretty good. Though isn't it adding unnecessary heat to your loop, some regular heatsinks would be more effective surely, as they can be around 80C with no stability issues IMO. Just placed an order for the quadgt, as well as an E6420. Let's see...

Yep. Hopefully, now intel's manufacturing process is very efficient, these are just fully functional top of the line conroe's. Can't see E6700's selling that well, as I'm guessing most people jump up to quad for that price range, so hopefully, for under £150 we're getting the top of the range...

A 3.8ghz clocked conroe is pretty insane when you think about it though. This is by no means official, but surely a 3.8ghz conroe even destroys a Q6600?

If you're not using it, I'll be happy to take the burden off yourr hands.... At most, the extra 2mb cache is reported to equate to about 200-300mhz. Also, there is a chance you could go higher than 3.6 with water, which would be awesome. Up to you though...in a way you might be able to make...
