Earlier on a was doing online banking and I didn't receive my OTP. I tried 4 times.
My switch from Lyca to EE completed about an hour ago and the four OTP came through.
Cheap was why I went with them. I figured it's still EE, it should be fine :D
I've been really lucky and managed to get unlimited calls and texts with 100Gb data for £10.50 per month and that's back with EE directly. Just waiting for my number to be ported back some time tomorrow (fingers crossed).
They use EE as well.
I appreciate all of that but in 2024 it's just a bad service. It reminds me of when I used to be with Three when they first started up :D
I haven't either. It's been terrible. I've switched my son over to Spusu because he was on ID and never had a signal. Spusu is a lot better than Lyca and seems to work well but after the issues with Lyca, I'm playing it safe :)
Welcome to the Forums :)
I haven't found a solution. I emailed customer services, replied with the information they asked me for and twice they've replied, still asking me for the information. Twice I've replied saying "look below at the emails, I've already answered your questions".

The issue with texts was when a code was sent from logging into to something...
I just checked and did the update and I now have 5G as well! Saved loads of hassle and getting a new phone. Thank you :)
Thank you again to everyone :)
Oh, I'm surprised by this. Are there any settings you've changed? I know some Pixel users have changed settings so they are roaming instead and you can get 5G that way.
I'm even having problems receiving texts straight away. With work, certain things require a text being sent with a code. It...
Hello All,
As per my previous thread about Lycamobile: (https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/lycamobile-what-phones-for-5g.18982539/)
I am now looking for a different phone. Is there anything with a similar spec to the Pixel 6 that I currently have for around £200?
Thank you :)
