I would like to spend between £75 - £100 and maybe up to about 125 at a stretch.
Mobo is 650i chipset and there's enough space in my case to fit any of the new cards in. I've been out of touch of the scene for so long I have no idea what I should buy as there's loads of new cards for about...
Let me paint a picture of the "symptons" I have spotted so far for this problem that has stumped me so far.
3 hdd's slowly died on me so far, after some testing I guessed it was the PSU and have no replaced the PSU and got a brand new HDD. I now have a new hdd and a new psu and I eventually...
This is going to be for my sister and it *must* be under £400 although stretching limit of about £30 if its really worth it.

If anyone is interested in an update:
I requested my MAC code but didn't order anything from Virgin. BE appear to have actually fixed my problem, 30 ping solid all day today and yesterday. I'm actually happy! :) My route has changed completly
Every day between around 5pm and 1:30am my ping goes from the usual 25/30 to 110/120 and it causes a large amount of grief for me.
What would people say to Virgin 20mb offer? Contract however is the only negative for me I can see, not heard any bad things yet :D
After 2 months worth of problem I have decided to leave BeThere due to having a 120 ping every day, which somewhat affects my "hardcore" gaming habbits :)
I have been doing some looking around on the UK isp "ratings" pages and am stuck as to who to go to, ADSL24, 02 have caught me eye so far...
Had the same problem, and the "awaiting keycode thing".

After reading the basics your best off doing what tsinc80697 said...

COD World at War is the name of the next COD to be released (AKA COD5) and isn't out yet.
I would say COD4 is worth getting, I play it quite a lot, its the only game for a long time that has made me think about giving up my beloved mohaa :)
I tried disabling my network adapter and it didn't work :(
I am pretty sure its not a hardware issue, because it does not lag the pc out. It just sits there using 14mb of memory and 0% cpu for 3/4 minutes. I can sit here typing this while its doing it.
I think I will try some driver re...
