Just wondering 8pack, what is the minimum stable voltage you test your 5ghz chips at? Are they just tested at 1.4v?

Just to follow this up, had some reply's from Gigabyte, and they have tested the memory I have on the board and it works successfully. They have said its a memory problem, so I've got an RMA on the memory so I can hopefully get a set that is happy on the board.

Nope, I hadn't tested it until now, as the gigabyte software changed the LED colours for me lol. My memory is: CMR32GX4M2C3333C16 This model is in the supported list for the board but in the 4x16gb version not the 2x16gb. I also have an open support ticket if of much help Gigaman ID: 453914

I've got the same memory but the 3333mhz version and board. I can't get XMP enabled to boot at all. Yet its in the supported memory documentation in the 4x16 set. I'm going to contact gigabyte as I think there is a bios problem.

Interestingly the 64gb 4x16gb set it supported according to this in version 4.31 of the memory and they claim that is samsung chips.

Cheers for the info 8pack, maybe its worth RMA'ing them and getting some samsung units. Any ideas on good units that are in 2x16gb for simular £££ and have leds :P

Got 100% stable on 5ghz now, Just memory just refuses to boot at the rated 3333mhz. I've upped VCCIO and SA upto 1.2v with no luck, I think I'm going to RMA the memory as it seems useless to have paid for faster memory and it doesn't work.

I think playing BF1 for hours is a test on your personal mental stability too.

That 4k on memory is mega impressive. I wish I could even get mine to post at xmp settings of 3333mhz.

Got the OCUK delidded 5ghz one.

Mines holding mine at 5ghz under 60degrees with low fan speeds :)

Totally no go with memory on the Aorus 7. The 8pack stuff doesn't do a 2x16gb kit so useless for me. You said about setting cache to 4.4? I can't seem to find an option for this, my 5ghz appears to be stable at 1.4v atm. temps are all in the 50s during prime.

3333mhz so nothing extreme like yours. I'll have it a go with both at 1.2. Whats the best memory stability test currently?

Anyone had any luck with XMP working? I can't get my memory to post with XMP on, not really sure what I can push my VCCIO and SA to on these chips.
