I think his big mistake was posting pics of his gaff showing that actually he was doing pretty good for himself, that's when the green eyed monster awoke and it was decided he must be banished.

I had a similar problem with the tv keep coming on and going off at random and it turned out to be a short in the side buttons, I unplugged the cable from the power board to them (back off job) and hey presto fault cured.

In around 50 years i've never once been asked to provide my own or anybody living under my roofs' NI number to the electoral roll.
