A. The wife is 10 years younger than me and has another 18 months before she becomes a pensioner.
B. I was stupid enough to put some money into savings instead of blowing it on coke and hookers so don't qualify for any pension credit :mad:
I'm a few months too old apparently to qualify for the new state pension so am immediately £50 a week poorer than you as the old state pension I'm on is £169 and some pennies p/w.
I've had two, first one I was sedated for as they used it to also cut into my common bile duct to remove the gallstones blocking it that nearly killed me with pancreatitis.
Second one at QMC just had the throat spray and again a procedure using a fine needle to aspirate one of the resulting...
I think his big mistake was posting pics of his gaff showing that actually he was doing pretty good for himself, that's when the green eyed monster awoke and it was decided he must be banished.
My Youngest daughter had the same thing with her Samsung mobile, even though she'd supposedly turned the feature off she was called by the 999 service to see why she was constantly ringing them.
One of my daughters is with Tesco policy expiring Dec 1st, last year £190 this years renewal £375! Went back to Confused.com and ran the quote checker again with exactly the same details, best quote £275 guess who? Yep Tesco :cry:
I had a similar problem with the tv keep coming on and going off at random and it turned out to be a short in the side buttons, I unplugged the cable from the power board to them (back off job) and hey presto fault cured.
Brilliantly sunny today but have lost all mornings production as some idiot in a car has wiped out a pole carrying the local 11000 volt overhead. Only just been re-connected :(
I had a Herald back in the 70's. You're right about the whole front coming off, mine did after a rather sharp stop at a junction :D Pulled all the wiring apart but after hooking the bonnet back on I managed to drive home down pitch dark back lanes with just the light from a flashing left...

Nothing attached to a house is going to produce any meaningful amounts of power due to turbulence around the building itself. Remember those Windsave things you could get from B&Q etc , cost more to run the electronics than was ever produced.
