XCOM 2 WOTC again. Completed it with minimal save scumming on the second difficulty level. Moved up one level and I'm getting murdered. It looks so easy when I watch YouTubers play it on legendary iron-man.
Currently getting my retro gaming fix with the System Shock remake and Black Mesa. I never finished the original Half-Life but I'm enjoying Black mesa so far.
Just took the lift out of Medical this morning. I'm enjoying the game so far.
Probably never happen, but if Looking Glass games are getting the remake treatment I would love to see a similar project focusing on the Ultima Underworld games
Getting someone else's dodgy return can be an issue. I bought my dad a £250 Lego set for his birthday. I opened it to check the contents as there have been instances where people have bought a set, removed the minifigures, then resealed and returned the set. I've heard of similar nonsense...
I put around 60 hours when it first came onto Game Pass. It was fun but, I had no desire to go back to it after finishing the main storyline. It's definitely worth £15.
Baldur's Gate 2. I got it during the school holidays so I was able to put in 16-hour shifts every day for the first week after getting it.
Honorable mention has to go to Ultima Underworld 2. It's obviously very dated now but, it was brilliant at the time.
Subnautica: Below Zero. It's good but, nowhere near as good as the original. I found it a bit directionless at times and needed to consult a couple of guides to work out where to go and what to do.
Horizon: Zero Dawn - 9/10
Very good game with a solid story. There are a few annoying design flaws, such as vegetation occasionally obscuring the view when aiming, but, the gameplay is excellent for the most part. It made me half consider buying a PS so that I can play Forbidden West.
Is the legendary edition just a graphics update or is there any new stuff? I've completed the original games multiple times and not sure I want to expend any more effort going through them unless there is new content.
Brilliant game. I ended up going through it on One Life mode when I had lots of free time at the start of lock down last year. God only knows how many attempts it took me to finally finish it without dying.
I ended up doing a complete run-through on the 32nd attempt. Looks like I need to do a bunch more complete runs to get the full story, which is a bit annoying.
It's a decent enough game but, has some obvious flaws. I picked it up on XBox for £5 and got around 70 hours out of it so I got my money's worth. I'd be amazed if we ever saw a sequel so the story won't be finished.
Any opinions on the G5 Vs the MSI GF65? I thought the MSI would be better due to it having an I7 instead of an I5 and having more storage space. However, I've seen people on other forum say that they prefer the G5 due to the wattage on the GPU being higher.
