Don't know if you've bought anything yet, but cheapest way to get new traxxas in the Uk at the moment is via modelsport etc on ebay when ebay has a coupon on, like today with the 10% code they have.

lol tamiya, not going to take that to the bmx park. Get a traxxas, both the slash 4wd 4x4 or the new rustler 4wd 4x4 should be in budget, might have to go 2nd hand in the uk or you can look at rcmart for good new prices but from china. Just make sure to get a brushless version (VX-L powered not...

*** The Official Astronomy & Universe Thread ***

What lenses do you have? as I'd forget about a scope to begin with and just use normal lenses and do you want portability or goto ability or not? Expense depends on the above, but if you don't need goto and you can do without a scope then a pure tracker for dslr use is cheapish. The new...

Multirotor, multicopter and quadcopter discussion - The Drone thread

I have read reports of some dodgy ones but also plenty of good reports so it is likely that they have had a batch of knockoffs at some point. The DYS BE1806 ones are only a tiny bit more £ and better motors so I don't see any reason to get the the RCX ones anyway.

balance your props and just use velcro, works great with my mobius camera. And anyone buying bits for a 250 may find this banggood UK thread useful, although props are cheaper at makeitbuildit the frames and 1806 motors are good deals. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2240158

@Lisapete the Walkera Y100 might do what you want, it can send video to and be controlled on ipad etc, has a follow mode and altitude hold, video range might be an issue though being standard wifi. and if anyone's interested I've got 4 packs of 10x4.5" props I don't need as I decided to go...
