but it doesn't change the info being displayed on the pane, at least when I tried it with explorer patcher (which is doing basically the same as startallback/start 11)
It doesn't look like it fixes the issue with explorer and the details pane.... I don't need it moving to the bottom which is what that seems to do, I want it to show the information like it does in windows 10, ie be useful when more than one item is selected. Example: in windows 10, I can...
Keep trying to get used to windows 11, got it on my laptop and my mini pc but it still feels like a downgrade every time I use it....
Things like the start menu needing a registry tweak to get rid of recommended section even when it's turned off or to get back 'basic functionality' of windows...
I actually run my fans slightly above silent, I like to know my fans are actually working lol
Does remind me I need to remove my 60mm noctua fans that seem to have developed a rattle....(my main pc has noctua fans but can't say I'm overly impressed compared with bequiet in my server if I'm honest)
I have the corsair cables on my rmx1000, they're pretty nice but the cable comb is really bad, you'll need to pick up some of the aftermarket ones.
The combs I have are not from ocuk but they're under upHere Cable Comb 24 Pieces Set
Currently using a Binardat 8 Port 2.5G Switch with 10G SFP+ Port, 8 x 2.5 Gigabit RJ-45 Base-T Ports, it's currently going for £86, although I got mine for £70. It's basically one of the cheaper ones like those mentioned above.
No obvious issues, it supports vlan on the 8 2.5G ports so they...
As someone who is currently setting up their first unraid server...
You get a 30 day + a short extension if you ask them to try it out.
The online documentation (and in the gui) sucks imo and I just can't listen to that spaceinvader guy on youtube for long, even if he is incredibly...
I'd have probably picked different fans with a more balanced static pressure/air flow design than the purely air flow focused ones you've picked but apart from what the others have said nothing obvious standing out to me.
Would have likely picked up a set of cablemods cables rather than...
Been looking into something similar where my unraid server will not boot without going into the bios first, it's on an msi board. Seems like fast boot is the likely issue, but secure boot could be another issue too so try it turned off as well.
Seeing as all my current sata ssd's in my main pc are crucial MX500's here you go :)

@bulldog147 I bought my AMD 5600G based miniforums pc on Amazon....pretty sure it was even cheaper than their own site at the time.
As above OCUK is not going to invest in what is quite a niche area.
I ALWAYS have a different drive for the OS/Programs and docs etc, in fact in my main rig I have other drives for specific storage/uses such as downloads and scratch etc. Bit overkill but it's how I like to keep things organised.
Does it have to be a nas and/or nvme?
My first thoughts actually went towards a mini pc such as one from minisforums (a couple have 2x nvme) and there are some which ca take multiple 2.5 inch sata with an nvme.
edit: forgot to say, just run something like unraid or truenas on it if you want a...
You can actually still get new (it's not saying used anuyway) motherboards for the 8 series from the obvious huge online retailer, but you might as well just buy a new cpu and motherboard combo in most cases because it would actually work out cheaper lol
You have a heatsink on the ssd when you don't need it with the motherboard having them and I'm not a fan of the cooler master hyper 212, it's a bit 'old' and in terms of value for money, you'd be better going with something like a thermaltake peerless assassin for basically the same price...
Personally I'd swap out the nvme ssd to a firecuda 530 2tb, I'm using 2 of the heatsink versions and (touch wood) they've been flawless. You might need to buy elsewhere due to being pre-order on OCUK though, they might even come in cheaper or the same cost as the Crucial...
Ok... as someone looking at getting into ubiquiti gear these new 24 port 'max' PoE switches make absolutely zero sense to me over an enterprise one... for the same price I lose the rgb (I can only see a use if it changes based on port issues so no issues) but gain more 2.5GBe ports... I know...
Honestly... first thing I'd be doing is doubling the ram to 16GB or even taking it to 32GB.... 8GB is just not enough these days imo and ram is fairly cheap at the moment.
Do you have an SSD, if not that's a no brainer upgrade too..... both the ram and an ssd upgrade shouldn't cost much more...
