Yep, I setup a registry entry for it though, I've done before and after tests and it does mitigate some stuttering here and there, Definitely not a placebo.
This but game devs also need to optimize properly, Too often on PC we are left with needing the brute force approach. I recently played Spiderman 2 on the PS5 and it was smooth and an absolutely beautiful game all done with an SoC that is the equivalent to a Ryzen 3700 and RX-6700 both power...
Honestly not surprised, Their products are so vastly overpriced it was bound to happen sooner or later and it'll happen with all companies eventually.
Don't care what company it is or how big they are, Greed always eventually backfires.
I think of Cyberpunk as a "turn it up to 11" style game, I quite like the RT FX in it but I played the vast majority of the game and the expansion with RT and DLSS turned off.
No. Even on my 4090 it had a fairly steep performance penalty which is why I'd enable it, Look around, Say "ooh shiny" then disable it again.
Note I'm not saying bad performance by any stretch but a steep performance penalty which I didn't like.
I'm hoping this version of FSR is just a place holder and CIG will implement FSR3.1 sooner rather than later as that is a huge upgrade even over the decent FSR2.1.
I'm actually quite relieved CIG aren't going with Nvidia for their implementation of RT. Don't get me wrong Nvidia's tech is great but it is stupidly taxing on hardware.
Yeah there's no chance of that. I'm hoping they get SM out this year as with all this stuff being added the server performance is going to tank quickly.
What with investors starting to lean on Chris Roberts and giving him stink eye saying "you're taking the piddle now mate" I'm hoping he has...
Considering how important Jabba is in the Star Wars universe that is utterly mental and they can't claim "it's for future content" which is fine for a normal season pass but as you can play the Jabba mission on day 1 it means this is just pure greed.
