New BT Youview Service launching this Friday

This deal looks great to me for my own circumstances. I'm with sky and have just come to the end of my contract today and I pay £87.99 a month - going up to £92.99 next month thanks to inflation-related price increases! I currently get: Sky Q 1TB box (no multiroom) Sky entertainment, box...

Loving the late night sun and clear weather at the moment - great for evening group rides after work!

First Trail Bike - Any good?

I use it as my commuter and my trail bike so around 5-6 days a week I'm out on it - I usually try to incorporate my local trail into the ride as well and that has 4-5 drops and jumps I usually take too - I've taken it to the forest of Dean a few times and used it on the red runs there with no...

    Mountain Biking

This sounds suspect to me, unless you land and try to crank at the same time, or your chain is ridiculously short and doesn't allow for much flex - a chain shouldn't snap when jumping - they 9 times out of 10 snap under high loads such as when climbing, changing gear under load or (as seen...

First Trail Bike - Any good?

I have had a Bossnut V1 for over a year now and I love mine. Take a look at the Calibre Bossnut riders facebook group - there's loads of them about. However I'm now getting to the point where components are starting to wear out so maintenance costs are going up - but this doesn't get any better...

    ** The Official iPhone 8 Thread **

Thanks for the links, didn't think of cashback so I'll have a look into that. Good point! Thanks for the detailed answers, the camera has become more of a priority for me since having kids so would make sense to upgrade based on that alone. One thing I spotted when doing a comparison on GSM...

    ** The Official iPhone 8 Thread **

Hi guys, currently struggling to decide what to do as I am now due an upgrade over my 64gb 6S+ with EE. I currently pay £40 a month (£54.99 per month with 30% friends and family discount added) for the 10gb 4g plan (originally with £129 upfront for the phone). I'm looking at the annual upgrade...

Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Just signed up to this! Puts them on par with rivals :) Started MB on the 4th and so far I'm up just under £100, should have a further £30ish come in tonight after getting 2 offers from William Hill - Bet £10 for 3 x £5 free bets and bet £10 for 1 x £10 free bet. Got both offers within this...

Things you should have known about but until recently, you didn't.

Up until 2 years ago, I had never heard the word "paradigm" being read out loud by anyone (as in seeing the word and hearing it pronounced at the same time like with subtitled tv). So I didn't realise that people saying "paradime" and the written word "paradigm" were the same thing. Up until...

    Project Management "Methodologies" - Agile?

As someone who's done PRINCE2 practitioner, is relatively new to project management (1.5-2 years experience) and works in an engineering field (manufacturing machinery installation), the above conversation was actually quite interesting as it's rare I get to hear or see 2 very polarised view...

    So Audi R8's can fly?

Is that castle Combe? That's a long way to end up if he clipped the caterham at pit exit!

    Show Us Your Motors!

Haha, I'm just too nice I guess, but then it was only round the corner from the curry place we were at so not too much of an issue!

    Show Us Your Motors!

Well you've seen the other pictures already but here's mine anyway: http://imgur.com/gallery/o4VHn What surprised me is that whilst the boot is huge (excuse the suitcase, wife's hospital bag for impending birth of 2nd child!), the space for the rear seats when I have the drivers seat in my...

    Show Us Your Motors!

My shoulders aren't an issue but my hips are, maybe that's just a symptom of having a 40" waist though.... Really does feel like it is clamping in on my waist, not an issue once you've shuffled into your final seating position but a bit uncomfortable getting there.

    Show Us Your Motors!

Thank you very much! :D Haha yes, the old screen was completely rubbish, same as was in the fiesta. Decided against nav as an option in that because my phone screen is bigger! This one is great, although not as good at live traffic as Google is but it gets the job done.

    Show Us Your Motors!

Picked up my focus St Estate on Tuesday! It's a petrol st2 and I'm really enjoying the extra shove compared to the fiesta ST it replaces. Although it does enjoy a drink far more than the fiesta!
